I am Optimus Prime. Anyways, a bit sad that ROTDS didn't grab your fancy. I know neither this or the console version were "great" games and certainly not the ones people were asking for but I quite liked the 3DS version back in the day, not the best strategy game but I'm glad it existed which is more than I can say for the console one (although I actually liked the Cybertron section of that game and wished it was just a DLC/Expansion or something for Fall of Cybertron without the film stuff. Getting a story to bridge the gap between War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron was a cool idea in addition to giving screentime to characters who had very little in FOC such as Sideswipe or Jetfire. So at the least ROTDS while terrible as a sequel does actually provide people with more campaign missions if they really wanted to play them.) Just a shame that one way or another you can't buy those games anymore unless your lucky with a physical copy. One small thing I really enjoyed about the DS version here was that it actually allowed you to control the mooks/generics on a few missions which is a really cool concept, if this was a better game I could really see the "Established characters leading an army" concept working well. Always tried to keep those generics alive during my playthroughs back then. Might not age well if I was to revisit them today but the game did it's job well enough back in the day for myself. That being said thanks for covering this and the standard DS games, always cool to get others perspectives on them even if for this one specific game I didn't share your opinion.
I have every single DS & 3DS Transformers game except for the Animated game. Honestly I enjoyed all of them except for the Rise of the Dark Spark game. I will say I enjoyed the 3DS version of that game more than the console version. But I honestly like the Stealth Force game. I had both the Wii version and the 3DS version of the game. But the best ones would have to be the Prime game for the 3DS and the 2007 games and the War for Cybertron games. Those are the better games for the franchise when it comes to the DS & 3DS in my opinion.
bro i remembered being a little kid and getting rotds cuz i mistook it for a nds game then being so disappointed when i found out that it was only for the 3ds instead and having to take it back. then i went home to look up gameplay of it and i was shocked to say the least that it was nothing like the ds transformers games 😭 even if i did have a 3ds i wouldve completely dodged a bullet
As someone who has played the Wii U, PC and 3DS versions of Rise of the Dark Spark, the 3DS version was most enjoyable for me, plus it means Ratchet survives AOE, so that's good.
I actually liked Rise of the Dark Spark. I rented the console version and enjoyed it (this was my first Cybertron game), then later rented and bought the 3ds version. I can say without a doubt that this is my favorite 3ds game.
When I saw Stealth Force in a bin at a store I expected some kind of remaster of the DS Dark Of The Moon Game. I would much rather have had that than this.
the wii version of stealth force isnt much better, its essentally the same game (tho it does have a multiplayer mode) but honestly it controls alot worse
I am Optimus Prime and Ries of the Dark Spark is NOT the third game of the series. It was just a cash grab, when Age of Extinction was released in theatre. Edge of Reality copy and pasted every 3D-Asset from War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron and the Dark of the Moon Game and put them together into one big pile of sh*t...
I've played both the stealth force game on the wii and the rise of the dark spark on ps4, both are pretty shit but the stealth force one I do have some nostalgia for regardless because I had to really struggle to even beat the first level so it meant something to me when I finished it. Also the last level beating megatron as ironhide was cool as fuck, ironhide has always been my favourite after optimus and it was nice to see him do some cool shit in this game especially given how he was fucking executed and never brought up again in the movie
Rise of the Dark Spark is bad no matter what version you play. It sucks as a movie tie-in (to a movie that's already bad enough on it's own) and it sucks even more as a Cybertron game.
I... am Optimus Prime... and I am going to turn into a truck now.
brchrchrurchrrchurrchrrchrr
I am Optimus Prime, and this message is to my creators. Leave planet earth alone. Cause I’m coming…For You.
😳 for me?
As a kid, i bought Dotm stealth force edition instead of pokemon platinum :D That was last time i bought game without watching gameplay on youtube :DD
Aww, that must've hurt
Did you still get Platinum afterwards?
@@tomatogenesis yep
@@Mokkilaituri That's great
Reading this comment just opened up a mirror to my soul
i mean, the two games are slow with repetitive gameplay
I... am Optimus Prime, I... don't have UNO. I... have the oldest Xbox known to the universe.
I bought mine on launch. You HAVE UNO!
First the DS games, then the 3DS games, all that’s left are the Wii games
There's a double pack game on the wii
I am Optimus Prime.

I really enjoyed the 3ds version honestly - the console version I stopped 1/3rd of the way through it was just a slog
I am Optimus Prime, and we’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty.
I rlly miss the times when both popular factions of the franchise used to get their own separate game. It was a rlly fun concept

Fun fact the person that made the music for transformers prime also did transformers one soundtrack

i was actually so bored as a kid that i would grind transformers prime multiplayer or just redo the storymode, i guessed i liked it very much as a kid

the wii version of stealth force isnt much better, its essentally the same game (tho it does have a multiplayer mode) but honestly it controls alot worse

i think i like the game because the vehicles of the autobots are really nice but is it really terrible to control?
Rise of the Dark Spark 3ds had a fun combat 1v1 mode, although the console versions had better gameplay but terrible story writing
I'll have to check out the console version as well
the king always is the ds games because its just perfect
I… Am Optimus Prime
No, no it's not. High Moon didn't make it, didn't write it. So, it's not part of the Cybertron series.
I too am optimus prime, and I approve of this video
I am Optimus Prime
Psp ones is the last one you have
