- Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel, well......what can I say, no real drama this week, which of course in the car trade is nearly unheard of, BUT! that doesn't mean there's not some great content made out of the jobs I did have. I hope you all enjoy this more upbeat episode.

Good video mate. Love that relay tester too 👊🏻
I have had one of those Aldi pumps a few years - just did a VW Transporter 6L DSG refill with it via a fill adapter - brilliant things !
Can’t believe how good they are for so cheap
Great vid this week Kerby, I love the new gadgets on display, be good to see the Mk2 Golf resto, I had a mk2 Gti 16v and was one of the best cars I've ever had, top stuff mate, well done
Everyone says the exact same thing about them, can’t wait to get going on it
Brilliant video, I had the same different type clutch on my daughters Citreon C1 and it worked fine 👍👍
Nice one 👍🏼
Those pumps are absolutely brilliant. I bought one so i could do an oil change on the insignia. The relay tester ive used about 3 times. And thank you again for costing me money lol now im going to have to buy one of those extension tools.
Mind you im going to be paying £85 for a shock assorber tool machine that i will use probably only once.
Hope you and Mrs Kerby have a great week ahead
Haha you can’t have enough tools and equipment I say 👍🏼
@@kerbsidemobilemechanic The worst time is when you buy a tool but never find a need to ever use it lol.
….but one day it’ll be there and you’ll
Be glad you got it
@@kerbsidemobilemechanic I want one of those lifts you have in your workshop but council wont let me put on in our carpark on our property lol
Hi.great channel+I just bought a 1986 MK2 golf( the year my last child was born) so looking forward to the 'strip down' of yours😱...🤞
Niiice, timeless cars mate 👍🏼
Another fantastic busy week mate great work. You have some amazing gadgets 👍🏻👍🏻. Do miss my A4 black edition 😢
Awesome cars they are 👍🏼
seen that extension online as well, good to know that is actually good ✌️
Get one 👍🏼
I use one of those pumps for my oil changes, brilliant bit of kit.
I wonder how long it’ll last
@@kerbsidemobilemechanic Had mine for about 4 years and 3 cars get an oil change every 5 thousand miles.
Great video again mate.... I need to order one of those spanner extensions they look ace save my spanners and knuckles 😂
Honestly you won’t regret it
I am on my second Lidl pump, I use them for sucking dirty oil out of mowers. Too slow at pumping cold in fresh oil, I prefer a syringe for that.
Agreed, but good back up as my syringe was knackered
I just bought the same pump glad it for u as i ent used mine yet .
It’s “ok” does a job
I bought that same Lidl pump. But I haven’t used it as the instructions said that it was a fire risk for gear oil! So I chickened out.
😂😂full send mate, no problem
HI KIRBY YOU NEED TO CASH 💸 SOME OFF THEM CARS IN 🚗 TO MAKE SOME ROOM GOOD VIDEO THANKS FOR SHARING THAT INFORMATION VERY USEFUL 😊
Tell me about it 👍🏼
Ref the relay - probably a dirty contact in the relay. The relay tester may only pass 20mA or so to drive the led, but whatever the relay is driving probably wants several amps, so any resistance in the contacts could give quite a high volt drop. Worth just swapping the relay to eliminate it.
Yeah I did swap over relays, it’s meant to be coming back to me for more diagnostic work but haven’t heard back 🤷🏻♂️
How did you learn pricing in the mobile game??🤔🤔👍
Missing the link for the tyre inflator, wanted to have a look lol
I did ask for one, I’ll get on it, check back in a day or 2 👍🏼
Non genuine screenwash blocks those filters on e60's. Use BMW stuff.
Yeah so I’ve heard
Always wanted to know how water gets into the bell housing? Any ideas how the water does? Cheers
Usually there a small gap you can see the flywheel from outside
My question is, do you have the time in your day weeks even years to do that full restoration?
Soon will, watch this space 👀
@@kerbsidemobilemechanic i'll get some bags of popcorn in then!
6:16 insert bleep here 😂
You know it 😂😂
Link for compressor?
Peugeot and Citroen are allways the clutch goes on them I've had a couple over the years 205 & 106 and Ax GTi and all of them had to be changed. I've got to do my focus MK1 very soon thrust bearing is really bad and 1st and 2nd can be a pain to change I've replaced the cables double clutch it as the pedal is ok one minute then next to soft doesn't crunch gears 31k and don't want any gear box issues so I will change gear box fuild as well grandad before me must of rode the clutch to death 😂🤣
Always the last persons fault 😂😂
Must be you... Pug 306 and 407, both done over 250k total and I have put on over 160k myself, never did a clutch or flywheel on either!
But that's diesel wat your on about with that mileage not petrol and different models I've no people who had the same issue
@@kerbsidemobilemechanic😂🤣 I've only done 2k but didn't help with a leaky brake pipe on the back as the brakes was a little soft for a while and as you know it all runs from the same system it was stood for a while as the old fella died and I had it off he's son
Another 1 i dont take the wheels off 4 😅
😂savage
That release bearing clip is bloody fliddy
Tell me about it 😂
My 64hp Mitsubishi started to slip. Put new disc in for $24.95.
Daaaaamn, what a bargain 💪🏻
They have modified the clutch . If u look it is 10mm bigger
Maybe because the first one isn’t up to
The job hey
I am pretty sure that V6 is in the Infinity.
You’re probably right
And should be sent back to pewjo.
Pewjo 😂 you Irish?
Sports DPF? Ha!
👀
I would definitely accept free things if all I had to do for them was make a video.
Only if they are good, the amount of emails I ignore is a joke
Modern manufacturing, that clutch is terrible.
Nothings built to last
You mention Haynes pro in some of your vids , would you recommend it mate , ive just started as a mobile mechanic, cheers Si
100% we’ll worth it mate, I got mine through euros car parts, was a bit cheaper, you also get 4 log in so can share it and share the costs 👍🏼
I've not long started mobile and I have Haynes. Or E3 just another version of it really good for the money if you can tho and you're friendly with a garage with auto data see if you can share you're haynes for an auto data. Having access to good info is key in this job good luck with being mobile 💪 roll on summer 😅
100% can save you a world of pain having the right info to hand at times
