Every ICE-TYPE Pokemon: Good to Evil 🧊❄️🐧
At the time of writing this script, Ice Type Pokemon have the fewest number of entries in the entire Pokemon universe. But that is not to say that they are lacking in Pokemon of all shapes and sizes, as well as defining characteristics. From helpful Pokemon helping transport people across large bodies of water to other Pokemon freezing victims and using them as decorations in their home. Today, we are going to examine each Ice Type Pokemon and base their mortality, both from the anime and their Pokedex entries. Before we get started though, just a couple of ground rules: We will be judging these Pokémon by the characteristics of the species as a whole, meaning we won’t be looking at any individual instances of the Pokémon in question. An exception can be made for some Legendary Pokémon, but this will mostly be on a case by case basis. Also, if an entire Pokemon evolutionary line shares the Ice Type, they will be sharing one spot. So, try not to get too chilly as we take a look at these frigid Pokemon!

I feel like eating your prey alive is worse than using their dead bodies to decorate your lair. Both are gruesome sure, but Froslass has the decency to ensure you're dead first.

I personally think the Vanillite line should be in the grey area. Vanillish does the opposite of smash its frozen enemies to pieces actually; it's shield dex entry states it spares their lives because its a kind pokemon. Funnily enough, that dex entry actually appeared in this vid right after it was mentioned it "smashes frozen enemies to pieces". And while freezing everything around friend or foe is pretty cold (no pun intended), Vanilluxe only does it when angered/provoked, plus, the previously mentioned Vanillish dex entry directly implies that being frozen doesn't kill here.
I always think vanillite is one crook leaders bc one black and white amine where there accelgor fighting against vanillite one those heroic moment

Froslass is absolutely one of my all time favourite Pokemon.

That is an instance of a Pokémon acting under orders of its evil trainer, which isn’t reflective of its species as a whole, which is what this video was going for. With this logic, other Pokémon like Azumarill and Surskit would suffer in their placements even though their species as a whole have practically zero malice/aggressive traits.

if forced to pick the mos evil between galili and frostlass i think frostlas is more evil, it eats the soul and uses the frozen corps to decorate its home. while a glaili eats your body, some of the victims might be alive but if your frozen solid you would be dead or unconsius atleast so you wouldent be able to realize what is happening. and with souls beeing a thing in the pokemon universe you might have a chance of some aftherlife or rebirth unlike .when froslas eats your soul, and then decorate their home with your corpse.

If it healed all the land, shouldn't the Calyrex be higher up than the Pokemon that just want to be left alone? Maybe even the top spot? If it's ruthless in battle, but heals any injuries, then really, isn't it no harm done?
I feel like the Arcto fossilmon from Galar shouldn't really have their dex entries taken at face value due to their dex entries most likely having been written by Cara Liss rather than any actual qualified professor. Ranking them based on fictional speculative behavior of a careless scientist whose design is inspired from the lazy carelessness of the Fossil Wars, the medal should probably go to her rather than the pokemon themselves.

Arctozolt and Arctovish are artificial Pokemon caused by the careless stupidity of Cara Liss mixing up fossils. They did not exist in ancient times. We don't know what any of the four Galar fossil Pokemon really looked like.
