Ford Ka headlight removal

This is a headlight assembly removal from a 2005 ford Ka

This vids covers the removal of the headlight assembly, not the headlight bulb. To remove the bulb just remove the battery, push our hand to the bulb and replace it. This is tricky, but it works in the end. And remember: you'll need your radio code after re-connection of the batt.

Removing the plastic in the trip above the wheels gives you acces to the bulbs as well. 3 screws and a 5 minute job.

Now remove the engine, take the wheels off, do 10 star jumps and you can access the light

H7 for low beam, H1 for high beam...

thanks worked well. you can buy replacement clips for the wing on eBay for a few pence each - get them in advance if you can. Crap design by Ford!

I'm doing this shit over and over since years now with my Ka sometimes 4 times a year. I'm always like dying on the inside when I notice the bulb is broken again. I'm so done with this shit. And always the clips of the front thing brake everytime and I have to order new third party one to get the front back in its place. But they don't fit a hundret percent like the original clips.

What a load of faff to change a bulb why did Ford not just make it simple, trip to the garage for me I would end up braking something if I did this
