First Person 2016: Nat Shaffir

Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was recorded on May 25, 2016. It features Nat Shaffir, who was born in Iasi, Romania, in 1936. Nat spent part of the Holocaust in the Socola ghetto and was later liberated by Soviet forces.
