Lmao IKR?!? I had a bearded dragon named Tucson (she came with that name, her past owner thought she was a boi) but after about 5 years, she passed away from Epilepsy... I didn’t even know she had it until after she had a seizure. After she had it we brought her immidiatley to the vet and there vet confirmed it. We got pills and after we got home we crushed them so it was like calcium powder. We gave them to her, and fed her lots of fruits and veggies. The next day.. I found her almost dead in her enclosure. We then took her out and I comforted her until she passed in my arms..
Dr. Lisa Chimes is becoming one of my favorite vets on this show. She is so compassionate and seems to intuitively connect with every animal in her care. I think every owner recognizes that and takes comfort in it. ❤️
The same. But a shout out for Dr. Chris, Dr's. Kate & G, & Dr. Scott. And for their Vet nurses, their staffs (staves?), all of them. Oh, yes, for Dr. Scott's wife & 👪 members, especially Maz, & the 2 girls (so enchanting). I cannot miss this show! (Used to work in the medical field, so it's like coming home. Especially guessing at diagnoses.) These Bondi folks are the best over most of the others in their professions. I especially respect how creative Chris and G are, plus their anger over abuses and stupid owners. Must not forget Tim Faulkner & his dedicated colleagues - they're the best! And, OMG 😲 so ¡Fearless! But wise, careful, clever, creative, and responsible in their ways at work and 👀watching out for each others' safety. ❤I love how they think so fast on their feet. I am addicted. And maybe way too chatty. Maybe.
@@dpaint6268 I find that people who work with animals tend to be pretty generous. My theory is that it takes and extra dose of empathy to try to help a creature that can't tell you what's wrong. Same thing with people who work with infants and the elderly.
Free vet care...she thought they would film with that guy then have an actual vet solve it. They usually already kkow whats up with the animal. Smart woman not to fully believe in the tv people

Well, that or the alternative. Youth certainly has its perks, but truthfully, as you grow older, you come into your life with a stable strength you never knew you could have.
I don't think she's balancing the baby near that enclosure. I saw another comment point out that there's another walkway like right behind or near the crocodile one and perspective makes it look like she has her baby on the crocodile ledge
Awww poor Sam! My mini Dachsie ate these tiny mushrooms in our garden and poisoned himself but we didn't know that. We also thought his spine had gone because he was walking funny. Turns out he was tripping his tiny chebs off for three days and made a full recovery. Obviously when we found out we cleared the whole garden immediately.

I have read all of James Herriots wonderful books. I was always amazed that a dose of calcium can get a cow with milk fever up and back to normal in short order. Good job, Dr. Chris!
As a relative of a person that had a mini doxie, there is no stopping them. If they want up or down from the couch, they're gunna do it. Now, maybe in old age they might need some help, but a youngster is gunna do what they want.
@@eldupont3095 You can train them to stay away from the couch. I did that after one of my little ones pinched a disc in her lumbar spine and wound up spending the night at a local emergency vet clinic. The vet who took care of her that night said her injury could have paralyzed her.
no. You should get a good breeder not some backyard breeder. Castration can also cause problems like that. However, dogs with a longer spine shouldn't jump the highest distances, but thats obvious. But stairs? Ridiculous. Dachshunds and corgis are hunting dogs.
Aiika ! Corgis are heeler dogs, not hunters. Dachshunds run whilst hunting, not jump. They may jump a little, but not to the extent that they will have back problems quickly. There are a lot of obstacles in a household suited for the much larger human, so everything needs jumping for a dog.
We had a bearded dragon, his name was Harry, he was old so he isn't with us now.. But he used to dig in his sand, and he had red sand, so when ever he dug, he looked like he was wearing lip stick

That woman actually isnt even near the enclosure. There is another walkway behind where the rest of the people are. That's where she is with the baby. Perspective just makes it look like that. You can tell by the guy leaning on the railing at the enclosure. He is wearing a blue jacket and white hat to the right. I believe there is also another walkway or sitting area where two adults and a little boy is sitting on the railing. They are behind her. Thought you might want to know.
I love that Jenny admitted that she thought Chris was an actor & not really a veterinarian. I laughed because he has proven himself to be a very good vet. His only problem is he has rugged good looks you don't expect to see in a vet. 😉

The fact that he could tell that the calcium was going too fast by listening to the cows heart beat was new to me. Usually our vet just let's it in slowly and that's it
I have a longhaired mini, she is my 2nd one. The first lived to 22 yo. Four years after she passed I was finally ready for another dog, it was so hard to get over losing her. Now my new pup is 7 and I just love her. They are the funniest, and most loving dog.

Did anyone notice how happy the cow was after Chris gave her the calcium and helped to llift her up get her back on her legs after giving birth? That cow was so happy and grateful she just looked at Chris and gave him a giant moo probably saying thank yoooooo in cow language before sorting out her baby. He helped save her life. He does such a great job helping all kinds of animals all over the world alongside the rest of the Bondai team even if ocassionally he might get people taking the mick calling him an actor because of his looks, he's multiskilled that's all lol. All of the team are such pros. I love this show too and am so glad I found it during lockdown, the goodness, empathy, compassion, hope and faith alongside the professional skills of these vets really is uplifting to the soul as well as inspiring, making the world a better place in real life, not just on TV. Blessings guys ✌🙏💙💛💚💜🧡🙏✌

apologies for being a bit of a nitpick, but I see this mistake a lot: "irony" means something that's the _opposite_ of what you expect to happen. "coincidence" means sonething that happens to be the same, like in your situation. no hard feelings, just pointing out a common mistake ^^
