Hope this video helps you with removing your 3.8l jeep wrangler engine and replacing or changing it with a new one. you could even swap in a hemi engine quite easily if you wanted. Hopefully this walk through tutorial help you with your diy do it yourself project.

Pretty good video. However, when I do my Hemi swap I'd change out that transmission and all. Much easier to pull both units together out of there rather than removing the engine separately,

You could do it in a weekend if you have all parts, i pulled it in a day

Why take the harness off at all? Leave it on the engine and replace with new on the Hemi engine. Too much disassembly here. Leave the whole service on the front, leave the harness on the engine. The only part of the engine that should come off is the PS pump. Pull the engine out with transmission. Way more work this way.
