I@nadasonic6 I'm not a jazz player BUT I like to keep one of my guitars tuned a whole step lower AND the 6th string another whole lower still (Drop D but a step down). And John Leventhal will tune down 6 and 5 to C and G respectively on occasion - some cool stuff you do with that one, especially used as bass accompaniment.

Peavey Special 130, but a Bandit 65 can sound like this. His controls are flat, and he’s using the clean channel. The sound is all in his playing, his fingers, and the guitar.
