Hi, Daniel: Thank you for mentioning my name!!! Those blooms came out beautiful! Like a floating chiffon! I did wiped swirl tool (in my case I used q-tip) after each petal to create more defined petals. 😊

My best results have, interestingly enough, with my white sinker ink. Better than any of my other bloom attempts. I'm yet to produce anything I am fond of yet but, I'm planning on going back to it on my next attempts. I mixed it with resin first, of course. It really seems to pick up the color on its way towards the center. I absolutely love the effect it gives.

Those are so pretty! I love how the petals on all of them turned out. The second one that you demolded is my favorite. I love how floaty it looks and like it almost has a stem. They are really amazing!

Hi Daniel, how long should I let my resin set for thickening. When I add my alcohol inks, they spread really fast. I’m using Lets Resin.
It will depend on the resin and depth, I let mine reach around 28 degrees Celsius which takes around 15mins

WhAt is the optimal temperature of the resin before you start with the colours? It seems there are a lot of different conflicting answers.
For me, 33°c seems best 😁
Great, one woman. Said 41 which I did and they didn't bloom much at all.
As far as I am concerned there cannot be enough bloom video's on TH-cam. I truly cannot look at enough of them, or learn enough methods for different results.
I love flowers and I am always amazed at the results.

My resin flash cured on me the other day when I was making a music box… I was so mad I couldn’t see straight…. Never had it happen like that before… I lost 8oz of resin… it’s my fault too… I let my resin get too warm before I mixed them together… I warm it up a bit before mixing so I don’t get so many bubbles…. But I got it too warn …. Oh well, lesson learned…
Oh no! Try warming just part A (I think A, I have just woken up so could be part B).
@@daniel..cooper ROFLMAO…. I learned a long time ago not to do stuff right after waking up… half the time I thought I was Still asleep when doing doing it… so, I always wait at least an hour after "waking."
Yeah, I usually warm both to keep them at the same temperature… it’s generally not a good thing to add something really warm and something really cold together like that… I’ve had things flash cure in the past but that was b3cause I was using the wrong type of resin…. I never had Let's Resin Flash cure like it did… and man was it ever HOT when it did… enough so that it burned my hand when I picked up the cup to pour it into the mold I was using! It hurt! Lesson learned big time!
Ha yours are fantastic! I tried to follow your video lots of ok he did this…stop….now he did this…stop…omg he did NOT do that! Oh well i will try again!! I think I’m not waiting long enough like from the time you mix the resin, to the time you pour, then however long before you drop the ink, and so on…impatient on my part

Oooh, these look good! I'm still trying to get my head around the science of heat/viscosity and how it changes effects. Picking it up in bits from various tutorials, but if you've ever done or can recommend an Idiot's Guide, feel free to point me!

@@daniel..cooper Don't worry about giving yourself more things to do! You clearly have a great instinct for it, like a celebrated chef would, or a popular musician. That instinct is near impossible to teach. Only *make* an Idiots Guide if it was on your mind already, otherwise I'm happy to watch and listen while you do your thing. Beautiful as is. I was inspired by your use of the neon pastes, and checked my pastes. Didn't have those colors, so I did order the neon set. Today it occurred to me that neon colors made into alcohol inks would be stunning for a project like this❤

great job mr Daniel Cooper but I have a question since I'm just beginning this beautiful art at the beginning of the video you make 2 different pastes and you use just one??
So pretty! I’m just getting into resin projects and learning all the tips and tricks. In order to do the blooms do you have to use a paste or sinker white? Or can white acrylic paint be added to the resin to create that white “paste”? Thanks for the tips.

Hi, I’m struggling to get my alcohol inks to bloom. When I put drops of the ink onto the resin it just sits there but then very slowly moves. Would you know what I am doing wrong? Thanks 😊
It could be a number of things including brands, are they 100% alcohol inks and not pigment dyes?

I seem to have problems with 3d blooms. Yours are gorgeous!
How often do you use your heat mat? Do you find it traps bubbles? I got one. And it seems to make my bubbles stay more than degas. Also it keeps warping, do u have any advice?
I use mine a lot, maybe let your resin sit for a bit to allow the bubbles to rise before turning on. Haven't had any warping, that's strange
I use mine quite often as well, and I let my resin sit for about 10 minutes, I suppose it could have to do with certain molds and the cold weather here probably doesn't help (I use warm water to bath it before I even mix). I have gone thru 2 heating mats in 2 months... both literally warped
@concettastowell9207 maybe try placing a glass mat over the top to keep it flat? It should be safe as these are similar to reptile mats which go under glass tanks etc.

Thank you, I used it just after mixing the pigment into the 1st small cup. I used around 10 drops I think.
