Nice video guys !!! Thanks for share your experiences and all the tips
Yeah, you did the La Sal Loop and Castle Valley, beautiful drive. Moab is really on of the best region to explore nature
Can’t wait to go!!!
Complete agree that canyonlands is super underrated. It is the most splendid national park I have been to. Not only the overlooks above but also the OHV trail under the canyon, like the white rim trail.
Canyonlands is sooo underrated! I was blown away by it. I went to all of the Mighty Five, but I would love to spend a week in just Canyonlands. It dwarves the other four.
Sounds like a great trip.
Yep! On my list 👌
Thank you very much my family and l will be there this coming month and your video really helps me also the Yellowstone video l love it thank you 🙏
Thanks for watching.
Great video some where I really wanted to see
Glad you enjoyed it.
I love the petroglyphs at Newspaper Rock with the many 6 toed feet.
Nephilim had 6 fingers and 6 toes
I fly in for an 8 day trip soon. The video I needed
Have a great time!
Very nice 🙌
Thank you 🙌
Another state park will open just north of Moab: Utah Raptor state park. Visitor center and other infrastructure is currently under construction. It will be a dinosaur based attraction.
Hello Matt and thank you for this video.
Did you or Cheryl hear about Mill Creek Canyon, a wonderful place where you can relax and swim after a hot day spent visiting the parks?
I've been there last late August and had a very good time😊
Hi from France !
Thanks for sharing!
And Powell did it in a wooden boat! Its crazy!
Man I desperately wish I could afford ALL of your trip planning guides (sadly disability does not pay that well) im going to get one of these three: Moab, Glacier or Zion. Those are the trips ive been lucky enough to be invited to piggyback with friend who are going inside the next year. While im sure all these guides are amazing could you tell me if one of them is a particular shiny gem? Maybe the one that you think people will benefit the absolute greatest from? I know its like picking a favorite child.... but maybe can you tell me whose the thumb?
Love watching all your epic videos, your families amazing. As a child i only remember my dad taking us kids on a trip once, we went to the beach an hour from where we lived then because "mom wants you kids out of the house!" Its so amazing to think of all the memories your kids will have with you guys!
Wow! Thanks for the kind words. Out of those three, get the Moab guide. 😊 Have a great time!
Any updated plans to do that Chesler Park hike? A vlog of that hike would be cool. I’m tentatively scheduling a trip to the area later this year and hoping to do that hike.
We did it! Yes, planning on vlog soon
@@WereintheRockies Awesome! I’m subscribed so I’ll look forward to that video.
@logotgr ok! I’ll get working on it and release it soon. Thanks 🙏
I was only able to spend 2 days in Moab last year, next time I’ll spend a week.
I’m going in November during thanksgiving break! I’m being held hostage by dental hygiene school and I need a break 😰
Enjoy it!
Sounds awesome. I just got back. I needed a break from patients. lol.
You could spend a week in Moab, but I submit that you don't need that long. You can do justice to it in three days, but four would be better.
1. Arches (go early!)
2. Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point SP - they combine well. Hit Mesa Arch for sunrise. I wouldn't try to combine Arches with Canyonlands in a single day.
3. Miscellaneous other cool stuff around Moab - Hwy 128 scenic drive. Corona Arch. Petroglyphs by the river. Dino tracks. Fisher Towers, other hikes, etc, etc.
4. Optional - slightly out of the way things like Wilson Arch, Needles district, etc. In warm weather, you could do some off-roading or river rafting, etc.
Love it!
We're going there this summer.....at the end of July....ugh....it's going to be HOT I'm sure. Any advice ?
Yes it will be hot but we hope you still have a great time. For great tips, see our blog article: wereintherockies.com/desert-hiking/
When will your itinerary for Moab be available on your website?
We are hoping to get it done this winter. Wish us luck! 😉
How's going to MOAB in the first 2 weeks of October?
Typically it will be great weather and is a great time to go. Utah schools have fall break around the second or third weekend of October so it could be a bit busy if you go during that weekend. This year fall break is Oct 14-17.
Week long vacations are for Europeans. Americans take two weeks off a year working for rich overlords
