Awesome video!! We went to Moab about 20 and 30 years ago and stayed at Bowen Motel both times!! We went to Arches and Canyonlands. I really liked Arches but I loved Canyonlands!! It was just breathtakingly beautiful!! Planning was more difficult back then! You make it so much easier!!😊
The La Sal mountains are so overlooked! I stayed in a beautiful cabin in La Sal when I went to Arches and Canyonlands in April. The cabin was 3 bedrooms and slept 6 for only $150 a night! It was easy access to the Needles district and Moab/Arches.
I went in January 2024 and it was great! Hardly anyone was there (compared to summer) and everything was open. I definitely recommend the shoulder/off season!
My son and I opted for cheaper lodging and stayed at the River Terrace Green River last year and loved it. The AMAZING free breakfast helps you overlook the dated decor. lol We also had no problems finding affordable great food in Green River despite the town being a bit run down. Planning for that trip the Utah big 5 was how I found your channel!
We were lucky enough to Roadtrip through the Rockies from Denver and into Utah last month, your videos were so helpful in our planning! We LOVED Moab along with Arches and Canyonlands, as non hikers we still felt we saw so much. We also really enjoyed taking a UTV tour from Moab to sliprock, I've never driven offroad before and loved it so much. We stayed in at the amazing Sunflower Inn at Moab - not cheap but so worth it. The tip to stay off Main Street was on one of your earlier videos we'd watched so we took notice of this! That road is so busy all day and night!
We visited Moab early June. Our jeep tour guide suggested taking 128 on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park. It was an awesome drive along the Colorado River, a must do!
Hey, I am planning for a family trip during next April and got to know your channel. I love your contents and they are really useful. We will be me, my husband, our 2 early teenies and my parents. I would be very happy if you can share how you organize your roadtrips as a big family. Packing, loading the car, is it comfortable to sit at the back row.. we reserved Chevy Suburban and we will come from Europe… breakfast options, supermarkets, etc…. Please share your travel story in that perspective. would highly appreciate!
Thank you for making these videos! We’re doing an epic 2 and bit week road trip from Ontario Canada. I’m using these videos to make a condensed itinerary for each area to cover as much as we can. Very interested to see how hot it will still be the third week of September when we’re there in Moab. Really enjoy the videos
Love the video! Hoping to return to The mighty five this fall. Cool factoid….. delicate arch and landscape arch swapped names because of an early map error. Which when you see them you can tell. Landscape arch is long and delicate and delicate looks like a landscape arch. Thanks for the videos!
I wish I would have visited when I was younger and able to do more hiking. Is there still a lot to see and easy hikes in the Mighty five parks? Planning a trip next fall.
very nice video thank you !...i will be taking my family next year early March 2025 to see the snow also ! my soon his handicap . i like the hat i will buy it
Thanks for the Video. Quick question, can I visit both Arches and Canyonlands national park with the same "Standard Entrance Pass" if I want to visit both of them within 7 days? Or I have to buy separate Standard Entrance Passes for both Arches and Canyonlands NP?
If you have the America the Beautiful Annual Pass, it will get you into both locations. If not, you will need to pay a $30 entrance fee at each park (each pass is good for 7 days).
There's an airport in Moab and in Grand Junction, CO that's 2 hours away (and a beautiful view). You really need to check your facts before posting videos.
Yes, you are right. We failed to mention we are talking about International Airports, which are usually a lot cheaper to fly into. Thanks for watching.

We flew into Grand Junction in May and it was an easy 90 minute drive to Moab. Loved all of the parks in that area!

I totally agree!

That is awesome!
I flew right into the airport outside of Moab earlier this month, Canyonlands Field Airport. Very small, but super convenient.
Oh man! I was literally looking for exactly this!! Thanks a lot
Enjoy!
I bought your guide on moab, canyonlands, and arches a couple weeks ago. really enjoyed it. We are going there in October.
Awesome, thank you!

Hi! Thanks for watching. We will make note of your suggestions. A Chevy Suburban should have adequate leg room in the rear!
Great video, as usually.
appreciate all the information both of you provide.😍😍😍
Our pleasure!

Awesome, have fun!
I know people that have a campground down there in Bluff Utah. It looks wonderful.
When I give people advice on what to see in Moab I have recommendations for 2 days in the national parks and 3 days outside of the national parks.
Yes, there is lots to do outside of the NP's!

We've heard that too but also heard it was false information.
Add bathroom information please, you have an awesome video here. How can people walk 1 to 11 miles without a bathroom stop.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Get some depends and or go outside 👍 keep some napkins in your pocket from the restaurants

All of them are very pretty and all have a lot that can be seen by car, shuttle, or short walk. Happy planning!
