If you ever see this, I’d like to say thank you to you for rescuing them. I know you know what means the world to those little puppies. I have rescue dogs multiple times and it’s the best thing I could ever done besides having my children.
Also, if you want a feel good story yourself, visit romania. There's a ton of puppies that get abandoned and there's even times when the stray dog population has grown so big the government mass slaughters stray dogs to make the issue better, which doesn't work

We get cats and kittens dropped off in the mountain all the time--the youngest were only 3 weeks old, stick legs and folded ears. We're removing a cat tomorrow that we caught, he's the second biggest cat I've ever seen, but he just wants to chill in hid little corner and be pet all day. It begs the question. You're driving all the way out here. Why. Not. Fucking. Box. It . And. Take. Them. To. An. Animal. Center. Why? We save what we can, but many go absolutely wild and damage pets, livestock and property. Last one we tamed took 3 entire YEARS. If they don't come nice, they won't be, and you can't take feral cats to centers (legally). We don't have that kind of time anymore. We don't want them killing chickens and pets. Most end up eaten by wildlife. Many more get shot. Make the drive to fucking scraps and just leave it at the door, idiots.

Mom was probably out finding them food, but glad you took them. They didn’t have a good chance. But remember for animals such as birds, you have to leave the nest to find food. You have to wait a bit to know they’re actually abandoned ❤
