I think younger people don’t understand these sorts of formulations. It’s a refresher. You can reapply it. Back in the day, bathrooms, even public ones had a selection of colognes to use, as a refresher. It’s nice in the morning, and then you can even choose something more complex, and the Cologne you wore earlier, won’t compete with the new selection. It performs as it’s meant to.
I have been testing Guerlain Aqua Allegoria collection to find the perfect citrusy scent for myself. Thanks for this wonderful suggestion, I will surely try this out ❤️
I just tested this yesterday at a Mom 'n Pop fragrance store here in Las Vegas! I want it for my historical fragrance collection. 1860 release (modern formulation of course) and that beautiful bottle, it would look great in my display vitrine. I will slot it right after Trumper Wild Fern and just before Aqua di Parma Colonia (I don't have Jicky yet or Mouchoir de Monsieur). It smelled nice but of course all the reviews point to the weak longevity, which is to be expected and acceptable to me due to the historical context and bottle beauty.

I think if you combine it with Molecule 01 or something else it will last longer. I absolutely love Guerlain’s Eau de Fleurs de Cedrat. It is beautiful juicy lemon fragrance from 1920. I combine it with Petit Matin and still smell whiffs of it later in the day.

Found this at cvs for 13 bucks so bought all 5 left. Pretty unimpressed but will do well for a room refresher or body spray. At regular price of $105, I think it feels like you're just spraying water with lemon with a bit of alcohol.

Of course Ah eu de parfum by Anthony Hopkins is a lasting neroli but it lacks the other notes in the Gurlain.
