By the way, don’t quote me on it but it might be pronounced “Reco - Ya” as is “レコー屋”, meaning “Record + Shop” like 八百屋 “Yaoya” (vegetable + shop) or 米屋 (rice + shop), and a little like “Recofan” :-)
Although still a work-in-progress, Recoya proved to be helpful during my month long travels across Japan earlier this summer. Very helpful resource for record (and record store) hunters. Thanks for the explainer, you digger you!
