My recommendations
Tribit stormbox micro 2 - $60 - 8/10 -
A really great sounding speaker at an affordable price and also very compact. Perfect for biking or the beach.
In addition, an application with an equalizer and a battery indicator is available
Soundcore Motion 300 - $80 - 7/10 -
Great sounding speaker with a nice customizable EQ and an adaptive EQ that changes the sound depending on position. But it can distort sometimes
JBL Partybox Encore - $300-330 - 9/10 -
A good loudspeaker with deep bass for a party. It has an equalizer app and has bass boost options that make it even better
will enhance the party. Additionally, there are 2 microphones in the box (USA) and 1 microphone in the EU. I even prefer the encore to the boombox 3. New models have now better battery.

Boom 2 plus is a mid bass monster, but boombox is the deep bass winner. Boombox has ear fatiguing highs in upper volumes.
Use -1 on EQ. With firmware 7.0.0. if that's your main issue.
The boombox hits those deeps as always 🔥
I think the bb3 isnt necesairly the Highs, its more th fact that it has a massive dip in lower mids, and boosted 700hz, sounds very tinny because of that
I bought 2 tribit blast when they first came out. Jbl 3 has little lower bass. But I got original motion boom and original motion boom plus. I'm done with sound core period 😅😅 great reviews 😁😁😁
I like your custom EQ for the Soundcore! I feel like the Boom 2 Plus actually does a few things well but man soundcore blew it with their "earth shaking deep bass". Although... at your 40% volume test, that B2P is doing decent on that track.
Surprisingly with some genres of music, I actually prefer my Boom 2 Plus over my Boombox 2 at high volumes. Crazy, I know...
Boom 2 Plus is not bad, its ok, but i think its still far behind competitors...

The Soundcore Boom 2 Plus sounded much better. Boombox 3 had better bass at lower volume, but overall sound was far better with the Soundcore.

If you're thinking about buying a soundcore I suggest you to buy the w-king x20 it's has more watts and get louder than the boombox 3 and of course it's way better than rhe soundcore boom 2 plus. But something you need to keep in mind is you will need to eq the x20 because out of the box doesn't sound that good, but with eq for me sounds better than the boombox 3 with more bass
Have you ever used your brain steve?😂 youre clearly souncore biased, Boombox 3 can get even 34$ here in Philippines, and all of you said was false and fake, JBL boombox 3 WiFi destroyed your souncore Boom plus 2. by far, Boombox 3 WiFi also had 200W but max power can achive when its running AC mode. don't dream soundcore kid.
actually Boombox 3 cost now 350$ normal, and Boombox 3 WiFi cost abit lower at 200$ in Amazon. you can tell that this comment wasn't smart and a ideot guy..
