In pvp, pve and pvec. Thralls are a must. Not against any dungeon not against other players but to help against purges. You could potentially kill all thralls in a purge. But the cost is the base they spawn at. Not all locations are the same purge. With the absolute best build the cimmerian purge will wreck.
Fun fact if you mix redeemed legion chest with god breaker everything else and add bulk plating you get insanely high armmor over 1600 plus you are immune to gas [side note] : i wasn't using the best armmor
I tried this build today and I got slaughtered almost immediately. The problem is, they've removed hyper-armour to almost everything so that almost every attack you make, except possibly for the initial heavy mace attack, immediately gets cancelled when you get hit, and if you get into a group of enemies, you're just going to stand there and get pounded constantly until you die. Maybe if you're lucky and trigger the Desecrate effect in your initial attack you will be fine, but otherwise you will just get stunlocked by groups of enemies. It's a pity, I was looking forward to pounding people with demonic force!
combined this built with demon armor, and a t4 blacksmith blackheart hammer with fence fitting 102 dmg 47 penetration.. if you cast invisibility spell and suprise someone.. they are 1-2 hit.
If you play this game long enough, you will see what will interrupt you and be dodgy. I wear light armor and solo the champion. Never get touched and kill her quickly. I us thralls in combat all the time but as long as you do the most damage the champion will never look at the thrall.
Warparty with a corrupt version of the strength build and mule kick. Arena champion dead very fast.....like super fast. You just down her with mule kick and whale on her.
In E14 I try to distract her with my thrall and try to kill her faster as shown in the Guide. But Sure, pure DPS wise, all warparty builds are very strong atm.
I haven't played in a few updates but tried a similar build and almost killed someone in the black keep twice. 15 corrupted strength, 19 corrupt vit with glutton for punishment, 19 corrupt auth with well trained, 5 grit in medium dragon armor. My follower almost killed his and I had him at half, then he tried to ambush me at the dungeon entrance then fled on his horse when I almost killed his follower again. Corruption can be pretty fun in the right play style.
But one question, I basically did the same build on a PVE server, but I literally get killed with two hits by any npc, I have 300 hp how can I increase it? I'm new to this game
Does the type of throwing axe have any purpose of the damage outcome? and also like the corrupt build, but i also think if corrupt in strenght, need to go all the way :) because i think the uncorrupted ones are also strong What about the champion armor?
Gooood questions... Axe: I tested it out and it seems to make no difference what Throwing Axe you choose, at least statwise, but somebody should test if this is true on an Health-Dummy or something. Build: I was surprised myself and it looks at the moment as if I have discovered the highest damage build. :-) Champion Armor: The armor is rather bad right now, unfortunately... Armor value and Stamina like SL but less damage and the rest is missing completely and the Scraps farming is pure suffering imho
@@nosemangaming8744 The throwing axe itself doesn't change your damage output, it just changes your move set, so you can use a stone throwing axe and still do the same damage as with a black ice one. The damage of your throwing weapon is only relevant if you're actually throwing it. As for the build: The highest damage output is actually achieved while the blood-mad berserker buff is active, which is really difficult with Glutton for Punishment active. I wouldn't recommend leaving the vitality perks behind, though, since survivability is worth way more than min-maxing your damage output. Personally I always go for a non-corrupted build with 20 points in each of strength, vitality and grit with pretty much the same perks you chose in your video here. The only difference is that I go for Blood-Mad Berserker, since I can choose to maximise my damage output whenever I feel comfortable enough to do so, but in general it's up to your taste which perk to choose here. For armour, I eventually decided to go for medium stamina armour (like the Gurnakhi one from the Battle Pass, not the one from the Bazar). Steel Thewed makes heavy armour obsolete in pretty much every bossfight and the additional stamina and speed gained from your perks and armour in combination with Glutton for Punishment will make sure you won't need any health pots ever. For weapons, the best for maximum dps is a combination of the Black Ice Broadsword and a throwing axe of any kind, but personally I'd go for a one-handed axe due to the whirlwind combo. It's just personal preference here, but all this stamina you have allows you to mow down huge groups of mobs without having to worry about stamina management. For build testing, I always wondered why the Arena Champion is everyone's prefered enemy of choice. I've killed her at lvl 14 completely naked with an iron axe and a stone throwing axe and she wasn't even able to perform a single attack until she went down. What really impresses me is melee builds that can deal with Rockslide in a relaxed manner. This fucker simply isn't designed to be killed. He can't be staggered, he can't bleed or be poisoned, his range is so fucking huge that you can't really dodge any of his attacks while you're close enough to his hit box to hit him back, his attack speed is damn fast, he does a lot of damage, has a ton of health and on top of all that most of his attacks will knock you down. Sure, there isn't much reason to kill him when you can simply kill one of those stupid crocodile bosses at lvl 1 naked with stone weapons for the same reward, but still this walking pile of shit is what I view as the hardest mob in the whole game by far.

Thats a good one... I wan't to test this build against everithing so this guy goes on my kill list... in Episode 16 he will meet his creator due to my hand :-)

Another tip is, you are imune to poison.... You can fight inside a poisonous gas from orbs, increasing your dmg output to npcs

Works really great. You can max out the damage with the summoned Demon-armor ☺️

I couldn't get the mule kick perk to knock down the arena champion maybe it got changed on which mobs it can knock down

Hmmm... That happens only If you use the throwing axe alone, instead as a side arm, normaly.

Don’t use this in pvp. You will get four tapped by agility build.

The short answer, Glutton for punishment is just plane better.
Maybe you can cheese a bit with it in pvp but in pve the damage dealt is way to low.

PvP unfortunately has a completely different meta, but in PVE the build is really fun
