There is a delicate balance between pointing out what is wrong with the world and at the same time accepting responsibility for your circumstances. No matter how underprivileged you are, there is no power in playing a victim. Everyone is fighting their own personal battles, yet we are all connected on the same journey. It is important to understand the source of suffering. So much of the solution to a problem is finding out the source of the problem. Much of the reason for your suffering will not be your fault, but that does not mean it is NOT your responsibility to fix it...because if you don't bring harmony into your life, no one else will. Change yourself, change the world.

The more likely they are to conseed to the truth of the. Being gravely damaging to their friends and family as well as everyone else they have stopped from getting good information .

Amen to that! Self-care is vital for our survival, but possibly never before as critical and necessary as these times we live in. The climate's in an uproar. The government's pulling some nefarious shit and the billionaires are giddy about going to space while millions of people in this country (not to mention around the world) are starving and facing eviction. Yet it is through self-care, including whatever spiritual practice one engages in or personal growth strategies one develops, that we can best be able to show up for our community and be of service to others.

The critique is of the work-a-day world set in Wall Street and Bartleby represents what seems is wrong with the entire system. Basically, we are all trapped by the outer forces of the society that we have created. Thus, Bartleby dies on the grass by the wall. Probably the very wall that has divided us from nature. Shift focus from being the consumer to grower of food. Plant something in the soil and recognize the connection there. Because if we don't, we may very well be stuck in the matrix of the 40 hour work week and lose our souls. You're a blessing, Russell. Thank you.

Brainwashing. But, we can stop letting ( Them ) brainwashing us. Shut off TV, phone, tablets, gaming gadgets and so on. Just use a minimal amount. Also stop consuming so much. I don't only mean food. Take bottled water for example. Why are people buying tons of plastic bottled water when all they really need is a filter on their kitchen tap or a pitcher with a filter in it? It's OK to have the odd bottle of water but, not make a habit out of it. When I was a kid there was no such thing as bottled water, we probably would have laughed at anyone trying to sale us water. They have this world and the people in it by the throat. Stop unnecessary consumerism. Stop believing in Media, stop believing more stuff will make you happy, stop believing if you were more beautiful and so on. The world has gone mad. Believe in yourself! No matter what your situation is, other doors will open up if we all just stop believing in and buying there B's. Look back on history about when people didn't have this and that and again this and that and add some more. It's just crazy how people are so lazy and can't even be bothered to try and change individually. A person doesn't need anyone else to make the change. As we start to individually change in comes the unified change. Oh my God! It's not hard. These days people don't know how to discipline themselves. They don't know how to cook from scratch. Of course you don't follow Chef Ramsey lol because you'd be paying an arm and a leg for one meal. Many videos on you tube show you how to cook and bake for cheap and it's good and healthy food. Also Google for low cost recipes. Stop buying bottled water, and processed foods. These days people don't know how to fend for themselves. Use your head, your hands and improvise. This is what ( They ) have done. ( They have turned all of you into lazy, dumbdown, people who don't know how to think and do for themselves. Listen, I'm 60 years young and if I can still fend for myself , all you younger generations can do it. Get off the he couch! And your gadgets!Another thing before I go Stand up for your Rights and Freedoms. Get out there and March and let your voices be heard! Don't walk away when they sic the cops on you. You gotta fight for your Rights and Freedoms. Yes, I believe in peaceful disobedience but, of course they will use force and then blame it on the people. Don't give in. Can anyone here, explain what exactly peaceful disobedience is? I want some of the younger generations like 20s and 30s and younger to answer this one. Because the future of this world now depends on you and how you teach and raise your children. Your all a bunch of scaredy cats, weak and hopeless. If you all continue to just stay that way , then your doomed. Don't bow down to the Government or the Elites or beleive the Media. Sorry for going on on here. Not! Not sorry, because it's the truth.

Maybe. But also, our ruling class is made up by individuals, humans like us. As hard it is for us to let go of money or not consume something that promises happiness, as hard it is for a rich person to act against the interests of his ever growing bank account. And not just a one-size-fits-all suggested remedy, either.
