God I love this, it reminds me of when I met a now retired JFO, he taught me a ton in Arma and teaching me the stuff. Felt way cooler than just being a good pilot

Quick question, for your ingress/egress you're stating "from the overhead" and "return to overhead". Is that signaling to the airframe that you simply want top down attacks as vertical as possible and that staging is at the flight leader's discretion in between attack runs? Or, is "Overhead" just a pre-established ORB, CP, IP, etc.? The top down attack makes sense to me, especially for a talk on target request for urban areas in which you're trying to reduce collateral damage. Was this a consideration for this OP, or am I just making it too complicated lol.
The angle of attack for the aircraft is usually determined by the PC unless dictated in the remarks of the CAS 9-Line. “From the overhead” negates lines 1-3 if the 9-line so the pilot can determine the best route inbound to the target.

They use TFL modpack which has satcoms, AVS, JPC n crye g3s an allat.

Not to shill, but if you're looking for an authentic JTAC experience in Arma 3, the unit I'm in (1st FORECON) has very authentic CAS procedures that go deeper than what's shown in this video. If you're interested, I can give you the details.

line 7 being established as "Talk on" isn't correct. that's not a mark type. simply say no mark. Also skipped line 4 Feet msl. this Is in reference to the very first control.

@@ryangiovannipyeatte5300 line 7 is for utilizing kinetic or non kinetic MARKS for the target i.e marked by SMOKE, LASER, IR POINTER. target correlation (using a sensor[capture] or the pilots own eyes[tally]) is its own step in the CAS cadence and NOT part of the 9 line. Go read the pub dumb ass.
