Such a shame that the SH3 adaptation was so cheaply made and ended up being a complete POS. I would have LOVED for Christophe Gans to have directed a proper film adaptation of SH3. Here's hoping the SH2 movie is at least as good as the first film, if not better!
Yeah SHRev was such an unnecessary travesty. I have to believe that, for the love & passion that Christophe has for the SH series that he's taken the feedback from the first film and applied it to the upcoming sequel to knock this one out of the park with his second time up at bat
I wish it wasn't Gans who directed this. I don't understand why Konami keeps giving him more chances. The guy's a creep and doesn't understand or respect SH. He substituted Harry as the protagonist in the first movie because according to him, Harry was a "f£minin€ character", because he "talks to himself" and "keeps fainting". And of course, Gans is a very "hands-on" kind of guy, if you catch my drift. The type of men who say thinks like that often are. Like Joss Whedon. Harry is a man who literally went to HeII and back to save his child.

RtSH looks like a really terrible fan made film. It’s made by Gans who screwed up the first movie and has screwed up this one. A ton of unnecessary characters that aren’t from the game. Check IMDb there should only be 5 main characters listed but there isn’t there’s way more than that’s needed. This movie will suck mark my words.
I am super inclined to agree with you. Part of the thing that made the original games awesome was the feeling of being alone in the dark. Gans says he has a lot of respect for the series which is fine, but a terrible understanding of it. Like did he even play the games?

SH1 and 3 should both receive a tv show adaptation instead of being films respectively. Otherwise the story won't ever make sense.
