God bless you! This actually made me cry 😢 This is SO true...people will scream "sit" and just expect thr dog to know what to do. Most dogs owners don't even give their dogs their BASIC NEEDS....food, water, shelter, vet care and DAILY EXERCISE!!! It's a shame how so many dogs are treated and then are called family. I could go on and on but, this touched my heart bc I'm a proud dog mom of 3 magnificent great Danes. I have NEVER used any type of tools that cause harm and I'm a 130lb woman that can walk 450lbs (3 Danes weight combined) with ease. It's not rocket science and the bonds don't develop overnight but if your dog loves you respects you and trusts you....you should never need to hurt them in anyway for any reason PERIOD!!! People are so lazy and don't even walk their dogs or even take them outside. It's like being in jail for them. It breaks my heart. We go for walks everyday no matter what the weather is, no matter if it's freezing cold 10 below zero, pouring rain, or in the summertime when it's blistering hot we will wait till the evening to go. But we always go for at least 2 hours a day and every other day I take them and I let them run. If people only realized that all these issues they have with their dog whether it's barking or chewing or whatever The Unwanted Behavior Maybe. The single best thing you could ever do for your dog is to give them daily mental and physical stimulation. Walking your dog not only helps you bond with your dog but it also is has anxiety joint problems arthritis and many other issues. I would be barking and chewing the house up to if I never got to go outside and do anything and had to stare at the same four walls day in and day out. It's not a dog's job to understand us and learn to communicate with us but it is 100% our job to learn about dog behavior and dog body language and learn to communicate with them. Communication along with daily exercise and learning dog behavior... I will 100% guarantee that you will see a huge difference in your dog. You don't need treats or all these things that you think dogs want to make their owners happy but if they have no idea what you're trying to communicate to them, they can't do that. If that's the case the only person to blame is the owner not the dog. Take a step back and look at yourself as a person and what kind of energy you give off into the world? That's the type of energy that your dog sees you as and if your erratic and not a confident person or always stressed and yelling. That dog will never feel safe and it will never trust you. It may love you care about you but I highly suggest anyone that has a dog learn body language and how to communicate with a dog.

I’m willing to bet you are one with the dogs out front waking you and they go in the direction they want. Prong collars and other tools are not cruel u less in the hands of someone that is cruel. Those same tools are what keep a lot of dogs at bay that are walked by people that can not physically control or hold them. Reward only training is a recipe for disaster that may or may not come. I like using several different methods, believing that no one way is the best or only way.

I always train my own dog.
It's easy pick the right breed and spend as much time with your little friend as possible.

People need to understand all animals before getting one as a pet. I raised my 5 year old Border Collie with all the affection, trust, loyalty as my human children and I get the same in return. Don't expect that you will get a good friend by bulling or mistreating them.

Unfortunately most humans undervalue animals, inconsistent behaviours and emotional of neglect is also a large contributor for this broken world.

You lost me on your first sentence. You are NOT the dog's "mom."

Too wandering, doesn't give what works.sounds like she wants dogs in windowless room with scent stimulation, not grooming and definitely not playing fetch. .
