you can cancel his neutral b without even shielding, you just have to quickly tap shield (must be released within 4 frames I believe) and your shield wont come out, which can confuse the opponent and easily bait out shield so you can grab them. you can also land with neutral b and cancel it before even hitting the ground, same way as before, just right before you hit the ground. Have to mention this since it is not said in the video. While Shadow Flare will take 5 seconds before activating, if you are fortunate enough to get the maximum amount, 5 stacks, it will actually take longer to activate. The amount of time it takes to activate is roughly 7-9 seconds rather than 5 seconds. This is pretty useful if your opponent is unaware of it and knows how long it takes normally, as it can be used to throw off their timing of blocking or reflecting.

Down air is very punishable, I’ve seen someone get punished for landing it, your opponent goes straight to the ground and attacks you before you can get out
Don't want to be that guy but it's important to know, on slashes the strongest hitbox is in the middle, and on thrusts the strongest hitbox is at the tip.

Should I use the tilt stick while doing aerials with sephiroth or use the a regular attack button I feel like fast falling after is easier to use the stick but I wanted to get some advice first
I think both ways are viable. But you’re right, doing aerials with the right stick is technically easier and makes fast falling take less effort. It requires to get rid of habits, though.
so this is wrong... as a sephiroth main, i can tell you that all you need to do is spam side b and downsmash, break shield, then just gigaflare. its super mindless.
My play style is very up close and personal like I will use jabs low kicks and then I'll use my katana to sweep across the field not allowing my opponent to escape my reach. Pretty much my whole tire game is up close personal and I'm not letting you escape my reach whatsoever oh you try to back away guess what a big long metal swords coming your way oh you're a little further away okay blue bomb. And the shadows I usually use the shadow fire for when I'm doing my jobs and kicks and stuff while backing away and using down b as a shield like I will run up and look like I'm charging in but then I'll just stop and then I'll down be fainting my opponent and then as they as they get baited Shadow flare and then that's when they get they start freaking out and that's when I start going right deep in and not allowing them to get out of my range. Like I rather have my opponent like chest to chest with me then be very far away from me. Because as long as they're in my little bubble they're not escaping
