An Hymer und alle Entwickler von dem Teil: Dann baut das auch mal so in Serie. Die Ideen, vor allem mit dem Badezimmer und alle die kleinen restlichen Details sind fantastisch. Traut euch 💪
Es wird wohl wie üblich nur ein Bruchteil der guten Ideen in die Serie gehen. Hat man ja auch beim California XXL gesehen. Ich bin da Skeptiker.

@@Chris-dp5vq glaub ich nicht... wenn viel aus dem 3D Drucker kommt - wie es wohl angedacht ist - dann wird er viel günstiger....
Stückzahlen machen solche Kisten günstiger. Und alles was aus dem 3D kommt ist für sehr kleine Stückzahlen bestimmt. Deshalb glaube ich auch das das Teil, wenn sie ihn denn so rausbringen, >200k kosten wird.
Der grösste Vorteil an den Westfalia Citroen/Peugeot-Fahrzeugen ist ja, dass sie die Plattform des Serienfahrzeug nehmen konnten und so massiv Kosten einsparen können. Bei dem würde die Plattform des Sprinter hinhalten müssen und die ist schon sehr aufwendig und teuer.
Meine Mama hat den auf Arbeit sieht fast genau wie im Video aus kostet aber in Standardausstattung 250k
Bitte genau so bauen. Selten so ein fantastisches Konzept gesehen. Raumgefühl Top, Optik Top, Handling dank Sprinter bestimmt auch Mega und die ganzen Innovationen (zumindest für den Europa Markt)

Lots of good ideas, but that rotating sink/shower enclosure might be the best (and easiest to implement).
I was thinking the same thing, although I'm not sure how to do the shower floor pan to catch the water that also extends or is built into the existing floor.
I've seen that van live and I was told that the water is caught with a sink implemented in the regular floor. But other companies have this feature of the rotating sink for some time now, although in a non-variable-size bathroom and not done looking that good!

Bitte unbedingt genauso bauen und auf den Markt bringen!!! So stellt man sich Camping im 21. Jahrhundert vor. Keine weißen Kühlschränke mehr. Natürliche Formen, Farben und Materialien. Wäre mal interessant zu wissen wie viel Gewicht dieses Fahrzeug hätte und was man dafür veranschlagen müsste, da ich mit dem sparen anfangen möchte 😂.

I have been on youtube this morning and seen a few american earthroamers , which probably give you about 10 inches to the gallon , because its a house on wheels , all hardwood and other heavy materials ,
then seen this Hymer concept , and it has blown me away , incredible , beautiful , so well thought out concept. Amazing

Incredible innovative design and concept! I hope Hymer re-enters the US market again and offers their next level campers. There is definitely a market here for more forward thinking, progressive camper designs. We only have two or three RV manufacturer conglomerates here that all copy each other and put out the same tired and poorly built RVs year after year. Please allow the US RV buying public a chance to purchase these inspired rigs!

Wow, ich saß hier mit offenem Mund und hätte fast zu Sabbern angefangen. Endlich ein kompaktes, leicht geländetaugliches Fahrzeug mit Hecksitzgruppe und vielen genialen Detaillösungen. DAS wäre mein nächstes Wohnmobil! Ich bin echt verliebt und hoffe, dass Hymer den Mut hat, so etwas auf die Beine zu stellen. Das wäre ein Traum und wirklich mal eine echte Innovation im WoMo-Markt.

Please, please, put it into production!! The Netherlands want it. The homy inside is perfect, with its lounge, bathroom and amazing stairs to the uppercut deck. Feels like a real home on wheels!! A dream. I would buy it immediately. The outside needs some more attention maybe.

LOVE this. If the very back dining table could be made so that those cushions on each side fold into a single bed with a support underneath that would be perfect. Sometimes you want to sleep by yourself not upstairs with someone else. Especially if one person for some reason isn't feeling well. Then you have two different sleeping areas which is so handy. Love the bathroom/shower combo. So smart

Hymer!! Please, please !! Do build this! It's perhaps the best execution of a concept I've ever seen on the Sprinter platform. You build and I'm more than likely to buy. A couple of things I'd like as options, if you'll indulge me, please: the seating in the rear to convert to a bed; the longer wheel base Sprinter (unless it already is), a heavy duty off road package blended perfectly into the design that includes such things as brush bars, high flow engine snorkel, high strength metal bumpers with winches (front and rear), rear bumper mounted storage, portal axles for higher ground clearance; a more powerful engine upgrade; extended range for off grid camping such as lithium, more fuel, more water; and a high tech security package. When it comes to the Sprinter platform no one seems to be as good as you guys! Keep up the good work, Hymer.

Outstanding HYMER Concept Car ! Last year I bought my first brand new HYMER ML. The only question that remains is : “Are there in Europe (or, how many are left) wild places as in this trailer... Good job HYMER ! Keep walking ! If I have to be honest, HYMER workers have many issues in a final assembling stage, BUT the engineering is on the highest world class. Respect to all engineers and designers of HYMER Motorhomes!!!
This is a dream venture with style because life is short and You need to enjoy every second. I really fancy the inside but completely fell in love with the outside. The outer design is wild and sportive, a big challenge for world discovery and wilderness pleasures. This is the perfect match for a Safari in South Africa.

One thing that might not work so well, the way it's portrayed is the bbq station though. With the backdoor open, all the fumes may make their way into the cabin...

Love it... now make some practical adjustments (better storage, other bed solution, bbq that can be opened from the outside etc.) and then introduce it to the market. You have some unique and innovative features here that would make this one very popular.
A digital nomad's dream.
I would love to see a version that could somehow hold a (light) motorcycle somewhere. It should be doable and at that point it'll become interesting to a great many more people. Or at least a couple of off-road worthy electric standing scooters with decent range.
This would be a good place for me because I love to adventure and this vehicle is perfect.
How it's shown where everything is, is good for people who want to see how everything works or where things are.

Krass, super interessante Ideen.
Wenn für länger gewachsene Menschen auch noch zwei langen Betten mit 205 und 195 cm Länge zur Verfügung stehen (statt die durchschnittlichen 185 und 195 cm in den meisten Kastenwagen) und Platz für Werkzeug, Sport-Equipment bleibt, ggf. Anhängerkupplung für Fahrradträger etc. ... eine super Lösung und Konzeption.

Liebe auf den ersten Blick.
Ich LIEBE dieses Design. Ehrlich. Sonst ist das Design bei Vans und Caravans häufig so, dass ich Depressionen bekomme, aber das hier... wirklich großartig! Ich hätte nur gerne das Bett anders. Für mich sind die Betten oben einfach nichts. Außerdem mag ich lieber Trenntoiletten und warte sehnsüchtig darauf, dass Mercedes einen ordentlichen Wasserstoffvan rausbringt (oder haben sie das schon und ich habe es verpasst?), den dann jemand in Kombination mit einem überraschend kleinen Gerät aus Italien zu einem Reisevan umbaut (das Gerät wandelt überschüssigen Solarstrom in Wasserstoff um, der zu Strom zurückgewandelt werden kann oder als Antriebsstoff verwendet wird). Aber naja... ist nur ein Anreiz. Doch so oder so liebe ich dieses Design und ich kann es kaum erwarten, dass ihr so etwas bald auf den Markt bringt!

The VisionVenture concept is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter - it retains the original doors, headlamps, and grille while the windshield has been moved forward and the A-pillar, engine hood and canopy have been redesigned.
But while the compact quality of the Sprinter remains intact, the main “floor” of the van has been designed for spacious, comfortable living. The living area sits under a panoramic window that offers amazing views, and the rear opens to a sun-lit terrace that comes complete with a pull-out BBQ station.
The kitchen is built into an LED-lit staircase that also functions as additional storage space. The stairs lead to the “second-floor bedroom,” which features an inflatable sleeping roof with an insulated, honeycomb exterior wall that can be inflated with heated or cooled air in just one minute.
The bathroom is similarly sleek, compact, and functional: the side wall folds up, allowing the sink to be folded away to the side, and revealing a spacious shower cabin.
The VisionVenture is like the Scandinavian apartment of your dreams - if you want your Scandinavian apartment to be off the grid and to embrace the outdoors, that is.
For off-road applications, Hymer’s concept car is equipped with four-wheel drive. The wheel arch fairing and selected body parts are 3D-printed, and BASF’s temperature-regulating and energy-efficient Chromacool technology reduces vehicle surface heating by 20 degrees Celsius and interior temperatures by up to 4 degrees C.

Top!! Endlich gibt es mal was neues. Sage ich schon länger das wäre es, ein van den man unten als Wohnraum nutzt und oben ein schlafdach. Haben im Moment einen summit-640 mit aufstelldach, sehr genial mit Kind. Fährt das Kind nicht mehr mit ist sowas perfekt! Klein, wendig trotzdem viel Platz. Ohne diese lästigen hubbetten die einen dazu zwingen immer zur gleichen Zeit ins Bett zu gehen und alles versperren!!!

I absolutely love this van. If I would make two changes it would be that the lounging area could be turned into a bed and that the drive train was electric. But I would still be happy with it the way it is.

Die Idee, respektive etliche umgesetzte neue Ideen finde ich zunächst einmal gut, wie z.B. die Panoramafenster, die Aussenküche oder überhaupt die Monocoque Bauweise. Die ist zwar nicht neu (siehe wingamm.com) aber sie gefällt mir. Die große Hecköffnung ist ganz nett, ob sie aber auf Dauer staub- und wasserdicht bleibt? Wie es aussieht, ist sie begehbar und somit anderen, deutlich höheren Belastungen ausgesetzt als eine Heckklappe, die man nur öffnet und wieder schließt.
Wie sieht es mit großvolumigem Stauraum aus? Viele nehmen diese großen sperrigen Campingstühle oder einen Tisch mit fester Platte mit. Andere wollen ihre Kite Ausrüstung mit dem langen Board verstauen können, etc. Wo bringe ich mein/e Mountainbike/s unter?
Ein Klappdach mit integriertem Bett würde ich nicht haben wollen. Ein Hochdach als Option, wobei das auch wieder Nachteile hat, sollte eine Überlegung wert sein.
Für meinen Geschmack ist/sind die WC/Dusch-Räume überbewertet. Wie viel Zeil verbringt man pro Tag darin, 15 min oder max. 30 min ?! Dafür soviel Platz in Beschlag nehmen? Die ganzen Landy- und Minivanfahrer haben auch keine Dusche. Auch hier sollte es eine Option für die Draußenduscher geben, dann gäbe es Platz für´s Kiteboard, die Tauchausrüstung, etc. Es geht mir NICHT darum hier die große Kritik zu üben. Das Grundkonzept ist sehr gut und längst überfällig, aber ein paar Fragen darf, sollte man gerade gegenüber einem Konzeptfahrzeug doch haben dürfen.
...super schön. Cool. Geil. Und wo sind Camping Stühle, Tisch, Surfboards, Angelausrüstung, Klamotten, Schuhe, Wasser, Abwasser, .... Schön unpraktisch.
Das ist eine Studie MrRaeberz, solche Details werden in der weiteren Planung bestimmt schon noch Berücksichtigung finden.

Es gibt deutlich größere und voluminösere Camper bis 3.500 kg, ich sehe da eigentlich kein Problem, insbesondere dann nicht, wenn (teure) Waben-Leichtbaumaterialien verwendet wurden.
