I RV full-time in America with a 30ft towable RV. Although I feel this is too small for me and my lifestyle, I’m in love with it. It’s simply amazing. You would sell out in America overnight. Great job on this vehicle.

This is simply the best small camper in the world by far. Congratulations to all the top designers who have made a dream become reality with all the inovation using every square inch possible for storage. This is what boats and plane designers have cleverly done for years so it's great to see this market catching up at last.
The camper industry has been getting away with pushing out the same old uninspiring bland production line rubbish for years banging them out at one unit every 50 minutes!
Home builds nowadays have many quirky features and am sure this has driven the makers to start with a completely clean sheet and revolutionise this industry.
This icon will no doubt always be sought after for the few who wish to travel off grid in style. Great also for running a business where this is your home and you turn up to clients who will take you seriously when presenting a new refined project...

I've been on a lookout for this camper van since I saw it as a concept camper van in 2019. I loved it then and I still love it now. Although, I'm sad to see that the bbq/cooking area for outside is missing, or maybe just not shown in this video. In the concept in 2019, it was a pull out from one of the seats at the back so you can grill outside. Also the pull down work station from the passenger side, I hope that's still available. Great improvement from the 2019 concept is the mini fridge so that's a plus, at least for me since I prefer that traditional fridge than a drawer type fridge.
I made in 2020 video about this concept at CMT Stuttgart (see here: th-cam.com/video/2b3K8vUTo6Q/w-d-xo.html ) Indeed, it had bbq area under the back sofa, but Hymer cancelled it because it was not ok. All the smoke and smell from the bbq could go into the van
I really like this small van for road trips! It’s a good size and can fit in most driveways. Only small draw back is the sitting/living area is pretty tight. And extra foot extension and maybe making the seating on one side fold up when not in dining mode. This would allow the other side to be recliners and mor comfortable.

The sitting area is just fine for Europeans. Americans would need twice or three times the space due to widespread obesity.

Awesome! The use of space is phenomenal!!! Also the multifunction rails, clever! And STAIRS! double as storage space! Bathroom/shower is a unique and spacious but space saving to the interior. Sleep area is seemingly comfortable, but I worry how safe if you camp in bear territory. Then it is no safer than a pop-up, unless the seating area in rear can transform into a sleeping area. Regardless though, I like it best of all on the market! Come to America!!!
It was just launched on 26 August at the Caravan Salon Dusseldorf. Hymer is probably planning to expand to America.

In American national & state parks that have a bear population, they won't allow you to use pop ups that aren't hard sided.
I'm happy to see that this RV was able to go from concept to production, it seemed too futuristic/ loaded with too many modern ideas to make daunting to make into a production vehicle. This vehicle pushes how an RV should be designed.

I feel like they could have made a bunk over the cab, too. Put a lowering/raising mechanism on there, and it could allow to sleep one more, as well as a back-up in case there's bad weather, or problems with the pop-up.

I use a foam topper on my inflatable bed , works great.
I've seen this hidden shower solution before and it blew my mind. It's equally as impressive here. Generally, this van is incredible tbh. The seating area in the back needs a way to convert to a second bed. Also, needs solar panels.

This might be the best of its class that i have seen here on youtube. The only two things that i would change on this is 1. Dining tabe/seats should be able to be Converted to a bed for extra sleeping space and 2. I wish the mattress upstairs isnt inflatable and just a nice and comfortable real mattress other than that i think THE BEST!

I love this! I wish it were available in the US. Hymer USA is now a different company they’d have to call it something else I’d imagine, but I’d love to see it here. I wonder how much it would cost to ship one over. Probably lots more than I could pay. I’m not impressed overall with US SUVs

Only thing is the stovetop seems a bit wastefullt placed, if turned the other way around and to the side more you would be able to use the surrounding worktop.

It's incredible how close to the concept vehicle (actually it wasn't even really a concept vehicle but a design project by the company that designed it) the production model is. The rear window of course couldn't have the true panorama view for safety/structural reasons I guess but still looks amazing. Not a fan of the weird inflated walls of the upstairs sleeping area, but otherwise looks amazing. Shame it only accommodates 2 people though.
Agreed. I need this for a family of three. I would therefore like the dining area to transform into a second bed. I don't need the captains chairs up front and would prefer a fixed driver seat and a crew-cab twin seat for two passengers. I would also like a zip-on surround mesh screen for the rear deck so that we can sit 'outside' without mosquitos and the like bothering us. Also not a fan of the inflatable walls for the upper deck - I can see potential problems. Otherwise, perfect!

I really love the look and layout but I really question some of its usability and durability aspects. The expanding shower is great but the toilet area is far too small. I think these companies forget during the design process that you need a decent amount of side to side room around the toilet to clean up properly when you're done. Only having enough room to sit down isnt enough for the vast majority of people. I also worry about the bedroom area. Without a dedicated vent for air conditioning and heating it will be very hot or cold up there most of the time depending on where you're traveling. I also question the design choice of it being made out of an inflatable material. How long before wear and tear or an accident puts a hole in it rendering the entire sleeping area unusable? Overall it has a ton of potential if those issues get addressed but at that price point its just another toy for the rich that will likely never see more than a few hundred units ever made.

There is a hidden desk near behind the front passanger seat which I really loved but you forgot to show this. It creates a working place and a relaxing place in the back with the terrace. Besides that amazing walk through and enjoyed seeing stuff I missed at the caravan show in Düsseldorf I think it was.
