To be honest, I love seeing your videos after being settled here in Canada for the last 2 years.
I came here as a student back in Fall 2018 and I remember gathering all the information from this channel. The old videos are very informative and very relevant whenever we make any international travel back homes now. Also it shows how you both have enhanced your soft-skills, video editing techniques and quality of experience.
Take care and stay blessed !!

Wonderful video. All your advice is on the mark. Also, we came with 2 kids so whoever is coming with kids , be prepared well. Don’t get excessive kiddie clothes and please don’t get any toys. The kiddie clothes are reasonble here especially clearance sales and toys are best quality here. We came here with very young kids ( 1 and 2 year). So they didn’t have as much as transition as us. Mainly they were missing their grandparents. I just feel I got too many clothes and shoes which I didn’t have to.

Sorry to ask, but what’s a COPR, and why a Pin converter between US and Canada? Can’t you just purchase a prepaid debit and set up a Canadian account? As far as personal household items, there’s always shopping at your local Canadian Walmart or eBay/Amazon.

Excellent. Except spices are not advisable to carry due to the customs/agriculture canada restrictions, specially whole spices. You will sign a declaration form that you will hand over to Customs Canada upon arrival and it asks you if you are carrying any food or plant products. Any seed/food if found during inspection may carry a fine. I was sent to inspection (not the first time) even when I answered No to the questions but because, I had nothing of sort they were looking for, there was no issues except for wasting extra time at the airport.

Hi Canada couple, finding your videos really useful.i have just initiated my Canada PR process through a consultancy , all the time only thing which revolves in my mind is the job opportunities in Canada . I work in a MNC in Delhi and getting a decent package but the pressure is immense, going forward the pressure is going to increase by folds which is the sole reason why I started thinking of getting to Canada to establish myself financially and live a stress free life. What are the chances of me getting a job in Canada once I get a PR and how soon it can be once I land down there. Request you to take few minutes and reply on this! Thank you so much 😊 yes I am sticking around👍

Hi guys ... saw a few videos ... very good content... practical information given from the basics that are required to migrate to 🇨🇦 . I had several questions in mind that were answered. Also I could relate the plans that I had in my mind was in sync with whatever info u guys have given..thanks for sharing your experiences. I wanted to know if we need to carry rice, lentils, wheat flour for the first few weeks or months as it will be expensive there. You guys had mentioned only about spices so just wanted to confirm. Also how about bedspreads, pillow covers & blankets ? I heard houses will not be fully furnished which means we need to buy our own blankets which might again be on a higher side.

Hi lovely you two! I hope you are getting best out of Canada by now. I just received my PR and coming to Toronto on 18th. I have a couple of things which I am worried about. Would you please help me with clearing my doubts? Thanks in advance:
    1. As a PR, I am coming there for 15days only. So I will be doing a 'soft landing" and going back later. I am just worried about customs. What are the things I can bring? I am going to meet my fiance there; so obviously, I would have some gifts along. Also, I have my own phone and his old phone with me. Can I carry two of them or I have to pay tax for everything I bring?
    2. Things you are mentioning are really good and necessary it seems. But I don't have most of them. So, if I buy something new, do I need to carry all the receipt and need to get a tax for each?
    3. Because I am coming for soft landing, I will be coming back to Canada in the future. At that time, would that be a real tough thing for me to bring my whome things? I mean, I am immigrating; there are hell lot of things I might like to have back in Canada with me right? Lot of memories etc. Any idea how can I bring them to our home in Canada and if we are allowed a lot of things when we come second time?
Thanks again for making such nice videos. Helpful they are!!!
    Best,
    Peter and Kumar

Hey Guys, it is great watching you two. I have been following you guys since a while now. I will be filing my PR application next month. Just wanted to know one thing, can we show our Gold valuation as Funds?

Hi Canada Couple, thanks for sharing all the important information. I would like to know if one needs to prepare a list of items of the things to follow even when he / she is soft-landing (i.e. processing PR returning to home country and come later to settle permanently)? Thanks.

    Hi
I love you channel and your family. I have watched many videos of your dad. He is so cute.
I wanted to ask if we will need original hard copy of driving license extract? Or soft copy will do as well?

    Hi
    Nice informative videos.
Would be good if you could make a video talking about the areas around, where you are staying, rentals and issues faced looking for a house.

The public library charges $.10 a copy and you make the copies yourself at the machine. To use the printer, you must make a reservation for a computer and then go ahead and print.

Thank you for details, your videos are really helpful. Is there a limit to carry baggages? Or there are limited weight which we are allowed?

    • @CanadaCouple
      @CanadaCouple  5 ปีที่แล้ว

You can pay extra if you want to take luggage beyond the limit
