    I didn’t know there were red people. I think American Indians were called red men 😂 . I think all people can be positive or negative my kids are a mix of that

    Why do I smell gas when it's real hot outside on my Silverado , any ideas

    I have a 2007 Volvo s40. The AC to Crankshaft belt broke after doing a swap of the alternator I used the old belt which was already worn so I replaced the belt after getting a new tensioner for the Alternator to AC. I don’t get a new tensioner for the crankshaft because it was still working unlike the other tensioner the star bit hole was completely broken so that’s the reason for the new tensioner. The alternator problem was because before it quit running, it was throwing approximately 7 volts from the volt meter before it completely not start the car at all. After the alternator swap the car ran with no codes for three days then the AC to crankshaft belt broke. Had it towed back home to finish looking after it wouldn’t crank with a new belt on the crankshaft. Do you suggest I take the crankshaft wheel off to see if some of the belt is inside of it and causing interference with the timing belt? And once I’ve done that what would my next step be if clearing it and no timing issues was caused after the belt break? Or if the belt break caused timing issues what would you suggest that I start.

      There's alot I need to know here... but if you're belt is wrapped around the crank shaft, remove it. If your reluctor is on the back of the harmonic balancer where the belt broke, then check the crank sensor air gap and trigger wheel on the harmonic balancer.
      Pull the timing cover and see if the belt has slack.
      Add supplemental fuel to see if car starts.
      Check for spark...
      As far as the belt breaking, use a straight edge to see if all pulleys are lined up properly before installing new belt

      @@partsshooter check the timing belt same day the belt broke there’s no slack. I’m in the process of removing the harmonic balanced today. Also, there’s no sound coming from gas tank I’m thinking I need a fuel pump.

      @@partsshooter the crank shaft sensor isn’t located near the pulley it’s on the opposite side of the engine on top of the transmission

      @bryontharp5790 was about 2500 at the time, price may have dropped. I'll be updating to a new autel later this year because I'm getting more 2020s
