Also, Peter’s Iron-Spider Arms did not shrink as he jump kicked Doc Oc. They came together and straightened out a bit to be able to fit. The angle makes it look that way but they didn’t change in size. They just made a formation that granted Pete the ability to fly through the gap in the bridge to Kick Doc Oc.

I'm watching this for the first time now. I am *so glad* I avoided spoilers from both the trailer and this and other breakdowns. It made enjoying this film so much more... pure, of you will. Learning that Aunt May died in this film *when watching the film* hit sooooo much harder and so differently than it would have if I had watched it after it was spoiled.

I hope they don't do that. They would be removing a huge character development piece for Tom right there. Instead of Andrew literally saving mj, it would be best if Tom is trying to save mj but green goblin or someone else is trying to stop him BUT THEN Andrew comes in and stops them from attacking Tom, the result of mj being alive or dead would be on Tom hands, unlike what happened Andrew. Which would play for a better development imo.

I'm not normally big into Marvel movies anymore but this one is definitely getting me hyped and I think the reason is because if feels like when the first Avengers movie was about to come out. The excitement from everyone getting ready to see all these heroes in the same movie for the first time was awesome! I feel that same energy here with everyone looking forward to all the spider-men kicking butt side by side.

Dr. Strange using portals to tie spideys web to his own leg has to be one of the most creative and clever use of Strange's magic. Props to the guy who came up with the idea.

Could the green goblin with those drones have been harry osborn. If his enemies are coming through, why not his friend turned enemy turned friend. Also at the end of Spiderman 3 sandman wasn't a villain near the end so sand man could have been fighting lizard and electro at the scaffolding it did look to me like his fist made impact with lizard during that fight but I could be wrong
I don't think Tom not using his webs to catch MJ means that they malfunctioned - I think it's more that he didn't want to snap her neck from the whiplash... (like what happened to TASM2's Gwen)
That said, I do love the idea of Andrew saving MJ in contrast to having previously being unable to save Gwen. That idea just seems right.

I'm with you, not only does Green Goblin looks younger, but by removing the helmet (named Power ranger helmet by many) allows us to watch Willem´s performance and well... he never really needed a mask, his insanity is terrifying in the first film.
In the original trilogy, they honestly should've gone with that Green Goblin make-up from his screen test. Would've given us both Williem's excellent acting performance & a comic accurate Goblin.

I appreciate that they are trying to limit spoilers, regardless of the amount of speculation that’s already going on. I just want to say this, because I haven’t seen anyone describe the shot of Spidey with Electro behind him properly yet. Spidey, wearing his inside out suit, has clearly been told to come here by Strange after detecting whatever sort of energy allows them to track the appearances of these villains, and has duct-taped his phone to his chest with a facetime call of MJ and Ned, to allow them to come with him. It seems like he looked around the area, but saw nothing. Until we get this shot, where behind Peter, Electro slowly materialises between two electrical towers. Peter senses this with his Spidey-senses and stops talking, which is why Ned and MJ look confused on the phone screen, and here we see him slowly equip the magic powers Strange gave him to prep for the fight. It’s an awesome moment.

I just finished watching the movie and have to say that @TheCanadianLad is soo soo good in breaking down trailers. Almost every prediction of his in this video is true and I'm genuinely surprised by his observation skills.

I love how the canadian lad focuses on the fact that Tobey could save ned aka peters best friend as a redemption to being unable to save harry in sm3, whilst everyone is obsessed with the Gwen/MJ parallels
Bro, the idea that the scene with Ned and MJ falling being a way for Tobey and Andrew to make up for their own mistakes when they couldn't save the ones closest to them is awesome, sad, and cool and would be awesome. It would bring over regrets of theirs from their own movies, not just of the villains but of their loved ones. They wouldnt' have some forced charactrer plot in this movie made up in this movie, it would be completely logical and comes straight fromtheir own movies. It's why I think anyone who thinks that there's too much going on in this movie and is worried about is shouldn't be worried. Because so much of that is resolved by simply incoporporating ideas and moments from the original movies and using that here in the best way possible

When Dr Strange says "They are coming and he cant stop them" I think he is referring to the different varients of One Who Remains (Kang The Conqueror) I think it happens after the final battle and Dr Strange looks pretty scared

I don’t know why but I just know I’m gonna lose it when I see Tobey. Those were some of the first movies I saw in theaters with friends (no parents) as a kid in middle school and I was just blown away. Even if he’s only there for 30 seconds I’d be happy.

Awesome breakdown and love the fall detail, leaves etc. Personally still think it's more likely venom and doc oc are the ones edited out of the fight scene. I think there could be a tobey Andrew moment but more likely in a later scene from the film we haven't yet been show in the trailer. Everyone getting hyped about the footage being shown here but I have a feeling what comes after these scenes is going to be the big reveal.

The mj falling scene also gave me chills, the only thing in my mind at that time was Gwen lol and marvel loves to do this kinda stuff. First Gwen, then Kate from Shang chi, then Anne from venom 2 and then mj and there are a lot more (like the whole hanging/falling from a building sequence)

My theory after new tv spot of sandman
I think in the end of spider man 3 sandman visits that place again where he becomes sandman to get help from scientists to make him human again but the process goes wrong and he died from that process because the background looks similar to that of spider man 3 where he first became sandman

A detail you missed, in the end of the trailer when the multiverse is opening up in the sky, it has a very similar pattern to when Ultron was punching the Watcher across realities, it looked like broken glass and it had a bit of purple in it.
Also look same to the timelines branching in end of Loki last ep.

I think you are spot on with most of your theories here and some of the new scenes released confirm you were right. The scene we see Peter lunging towards the bomb actually takes place in the building where Happy apartment is. Peter and Aunt May have been staying there with him. I assume this is where Aunt May dies.
Sony is being super sneaky. There are several scenes where the video was flipped horizontally to make it appear that character are interacting with each other, there is a scene of Dr Strange where in one trailer it was day time but the other trailer it's night time and of course there is the weird way Dr Strange's voice sounds heavily edited.
