- How to use TRETINOIN CORRECTLY?
👉 Tretinoin is available in various strengths 0.025% , 0.05% and 0.01% . I’m using the lowest strength which is 0.025%
👉 It helps treat acne, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, dark spots and reduce texture on skin
👉 Sandwich method - on clean washed and toned face apply your favorite hydrating moisturizer preferably something with ceramides, peptides and hyaluronic acid and then apply tret like suggested and then again after few mins apply the same moisturizer on top
👉 Tret is NOT PREGNANCY OR LACTATION SAFE
👉 Start with once a week and build it upto 2-3 times a week
👉 Wearing sunscreen every morning is imperative while using Tret
👉 Tret should be introduced after your skin is comfortable with using retinol for atleast a few months
👉 My experience- Purging with Tret is very common, it’s your skins way of adjusting to it. It broke me out for the first month and then my skin started settling in
👉 Patch testing tret like anyother skincare product is very important
👉 I suggest don’t use chemical peels and retinol while using Tretinoin
👉 Consult your dermatologist to understand if your skin needs it and what strength will suit you

I have never used retinol. I'm currently using adapalen gel which is tolerated well by my skin. Can I shift to using tretinoin??
Adapalene is also retinol, don't over irritate ur skin more... U might get pimples
Can you tell me what is the benefits of using adapalene gel coz my doctor suggest me this and I'm confused that it remove ance scars or not

Its over the counter so anyone who has basic knowledge on tretinoins can definitely apply this with caution
It's for them who has sensitive skin people with rough skin can apply tretinoin without any side-effect but people who have sensitive skin who'se skin goes red in the sunlight should definitely consult doctor before using tretinoin and specially females

I suggest you to use tretenion gel cream since the gel formula is better for sensitive skin. It works as an exfoliator, it'll peel your skin off for some people it has been a painful yet worthy experience. So this will remove the acne marks and reduce pigmentation. Would also work on dullness but bright skin cannot be guaranteed by this product. (If you want any suggestions on how to get bright skin I can help)

@@quickbuddy364 so basically all you need is a simple and affordable skincare routine.
1) Use a cleanser (I prefer Cetaphil)
2) Use a serum which has vitamin C present in it. (If it gets out of your budget but vitamin C tablets from a drug store, poke a pill and apply the gel type of material inside of it on your face)
3) Use a good moisturizer (again I prefer Cetaphil)
4) Use a good sunscreen (aqualogica preferably)
These are the basic, and most important steps you need to follow (can skip the serum depending on your budget)

Hi! There's no need to do the sandwich method if your skin can tolerate it. Just cleanse, serum, tretinoin and a light layer of moisturiser 20-30mins after. If your skin can't tolerate it, try using it after cleansing and wash off after 5mins for a week then build it up to 10mins, 15mins, 20mins until you can leave it on overnight. This is an alternative if you don't want to moisturise twice. Or start with a low percentage retinol and build up to tretinoin.
@@sanjanat1085 thanks, that’s very informative. As I’ve extremely oily skin, it is tolerating tretinoin well I don’t put so much of moisturiser only when it feels dry nd it’s working for me.

Suggest some hydrating moisturizer to use with tretinoin in winter and summer as well.
pharmacy cream like emoelene,venusia,aquasoft
or use skincare cream like dot n key blue , dr derma co hy acid gel,
or any hydrating cream which dont have any active or aha bha vit c retinol..hylaurinic acid or nia or ceramide will be my recommandation

Hey before and after applying this cream you must apply any moisturiser you like that's called a sandwich method and the sensitive areas such as back of the nose under lips and under eyes try using vaseline or any other type of gel and then apply the cream hope you understand

After 22 you should start using these products.. If you will use these products now than pro the age of 25 your Skin barrier will be at worst condition.. And yeah if your skin is dry in Winters only you can use is a good Hyaluronic Acid Serum

You can use vaseline after first layer of moisturizer on those areas then apply tret then moisturizer again! For better skin try using rash cream which contains zinc at night! More ugly you look at night, your skin looks prettier in the morning 😂
