It's a peaceful pioneer cemetery - right off HWY 10 - in Clay County Iowa. I'm thankful for cemeteries like this being protected, as if often times is the only thing left of certain ghost towns around the country.
I passed by this spot 2 days ago and thought about stopping to look around. It was getting late in the day
You were driving about 20-25 minutes away from my home big guy! we need to connect soon - Hope your travels went well this week. Thank you for stopping by to check out the video!

I need to get your advice on metal detection equipment - I see you have experience in that department! Thanks for watching.
@@midwestghosttown I was gifted a Garrett Ace 400 over a year ago and haven’t really gotten into it. If there is any questions I can answer I’ll be happy to, but possibly for some questions I won’t have an answer.
That's ok...I think its great that you're doing it! We learn together! 😉
I can get to clay county in about 30 minutes. I'll have to check that out!
Let me know -I'll meet up with you. Meanwhile - there is a Ghost Town over in Sioux County (mostly cemetery today - but would be fun to meet up and collaborate on a video together - let me know. I believe Ionia has some of the history written about it.
