It would be great to see videos of both tractors Joe. I've never seen those washer/seals before, very interesting. I could really make good use of a scissor lift like that, so useful.
Joe- Those combination washers are very interesting. I’ve always hated O-Rings as they only seem to work in very specific applications for me. Those hydraulic carts are really handy and yours looks heavy duty. 😃👍. That new wheel horse tractor is spectacular, extremely clean and I can’t believe the price! Score! So funny about that little John Deere tractor- I had a feeling I would see one soon! 😃👍🇺🇸
My nephew is just starting to understand what the gas pedal does. He doesn't quit grasp steering, so I might need to build a foam bumper. Otherwise I'll be making an episode on repairing drywall corners 🤣. Cheers
Back when I was an apprentice in the UK mining industry we used these on very high pressure hydraulic system we called them Dowty Seals after the company that made them back in the late 70s.
In the oil field when we had a high pressure (natural gas) we used something called a flexatalic gasket. Metal similar to a crush washer to resist heat and hip pressure but flexible enough to conform to minor imperfections in the surfaces.

The tractors are always interesting content. I would watch if you decide to fix/repair or just fool with the lawn mowers.

Hi Ken. I saw the "dowty" name on the front, but I never trust those chinese translations 🤣. Thanks for verifying that. Cheers

Not familiar with that model but some of the old lawn tractors are great and unstoppable compared to some of the tinfoil garbage of today.
I'm lookin' forward to seein' ya zippin' around the yard on that John Deere!
Lol....could you imagine 🤣. Cheers
