You would have thought it wouldn't have been too difficult for the NT to have a nationwide policy as logically I can't see how one property differs from another in that respect. Perhaps its something you need to take up directly with the NT but they do seem to be a law unto themselves? I can understand that a filming ban might be a way of protecting their copyright given that they are in no position to know what the filming will eventually be used for, especially with the proliferations of Social Media? Its also difficult to understand why filming is not allowed but still photography is?
Speaking personally, I see your videos as a preview to places to go and visit with the family. My son, wife and myself have recentl canoed at Mytchett on the Basingstoke canal. That video was very helpful. I think it is a poor choice by the NT to ban filming. You are just promoting the place, surely? For free! Don't be disheartened Dave. All that you upload is appreciated here.
Its a real shame. Do you have enough footage of the grounds to make a video? I've wanted to visit the park to see the deer for a while. Maybe make some short videos from the footage?
@@GLNZFishing I only shot the opening scene leading up to the house, although there is a link in this video that leads to a video of the grounds shot two years ago. th-cam.com/video/VQJ8u9KqEu0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=THulazWVDX1e4jcS
