A few people have mentioned my slip up in this video when I referred to 'unsaturated fat' in butter. I should have said 'Saturated fat' My apologies for the slip and thanks to those who gave me a heads up on this mistake. I think especially with videos concerning diet and health we need to get details right
My grandmother was raised on a ranch & had a dairy, my family drank raw milk, whole cream, butter she lived a wonderful 98 years almost 99, my mother is 82 and in wonderful shape, she eats 90% meat, butter, cream. I eat 100% meat and fat, my health is great with no problems thanks to God. I would recommend to any and all, eat this way if you want premium health and quality of life.

Thanks Tricia. I still feel very new at all of this and been trying different things including trying different places to film videos. Really appreciate your feedback as it helps a lot
I use Organic Times salted grass fed butter. I get mine from our local health food shop which is almost a mini supermarket. When I was a small child we lived on a dairy farm and I can remember going down to the dairy with my mother where I used to milk one of the placid good natured cows. We didn’t have electricity on the property but we did have a kerosene fridge which was useful in keeping the butter cold and stopped it getting too soft and runny in the heat of our Australian summer. Butter is really delicious!
My favorite is also Kerry Gold. Cutting the stick into tablespoon servings makes it convenient to take a slice straight out of the fridge and cover it with himalayan salt and eat as a snack. Yum! 👌
Here in the UK Kerrygold butter from Ireland is an excellent source of grass fed butter. We also get Lurpak, New Zealand and several smaller British grass feed butters. 👍
I must check out Kerrygold. One of our supermarkets here has it on their website but marked out of stock. I will keep an eye out for it . Thanks for commenting
I love Duck River butter in Tassie and get it from Woolworths. That's the main one that I use every day. I also use the Mainland Garlic and Garlic and Herb butter and put a nice thick slice on top of steak. It's very handy for a bit of flavour. I just googled it and am not surprised to see that Duck River butter won the Champion Butter title at the Australian Grand Dairy Awards in 2023 and 2024. If you get a chance to try it I highly recommend it. Both Woolworths and Coles stock it here in Tassie. Saw someone in Queensland asking for it there on a google review. This is part of what they say and I totally agree "As a lover of all thing butter, I have tried many different brands over the years, but none have quite captured my taste buds like Duck River Butter. Your butter is rich, creamy and has a distinctively delicious flavor that I simply cannot find in other brands." Keep an eye out and if you get a chance to taste it let me know what you think.
We lived in Tassie a few years back and I remember the Duck River Butter. Nice to find a decent butter than you can source fairly easily . Thanks for commenting
Butter is my best friend on the carnivore diet. I've tried most butters you showed in the video and agree. Western Star also make a cultured unsalted butter, which is very good along with their 'original' salted variety. I have also found Aldi's cheap Australian butter to be very good, particularly in unsalted but also in salted form. It is better than the equivalent no-name products from Coles and Woolworths. Aldi Australian organic salted is also decent.
I love eating and making my own butter! My daughter will eat it with a spoon out of the dish😅. I didn't realize it had so many vitamins and minerals though. Thanks for the great information as always.
In the USA, Vital sells pasture raised organic eggs and grass fed/pasture butter. I love their eggs but can't stand their butter. They wrap the butter in a brown paper that leeches into the butter, giving it a funky taste. There is another company that sells grass fed pasture raised sweet butter. I love it, and buy several boxes when I can because it is constantly out at the stores. If I mention the name, I probably won't be able to buy at all. Lol Another good one is Finlandia butter. It is imported from Europe. Now that butter is rare to buy. I can't remember if it is grass fed pasture raised butter. It is the creamiest sweet butter with a pleasant distinct flavor.
Love this video... I live south west sydney, my local woolworths were out of my favourite salted Westgold no unsalted either... the Mainland cheese is normally a NZ brand, if woolies choose a brand for themselves its usually good quality... the grass fed eggs have been scarse lately also organic.... can manage to find free range, but not the same..
Thanks Pamela. Nice to hear from you. There has been a bit of an egg shortage of late. You may be able to find a source from a local producer, either at farm gate or enquire about how they distribute their eggs.
Yeah thanks Lizz, had a couple of people point that out to me. I must be getting old, still with health messages, its important that we get details right. Appreciate the feedback. It helps
Alberta, Canada here. 84% fat L'ancetre, A2 St. Brigid are from Ontario & delicious & local Vital Greens (low pasteurized, non homogenized) has 52% cream which I whip & strain the butter, soooo good!

Thank you Larry … a great review. I’m currently using the Lurpak block, but intend to try them all to see which one I like the best. We use Mainland Buttersoft for spreading … it says it’s just cream & salt … I’m hoping that is the case. I also use ghee in the frypan.
Lupak certainly has a nice flavor. I cant understand why they would add canola oil - just to make it softer to spread I guess, but I certainly don't want anything with Canola oil in it
Mainland butter (NZ) is just butter. And because grass is the most cost effective way of feeding cattle in New Zealand it will be very close to 100% grass fed. Kerry gold will be similar since we are the two countries in the world who have the perfect (temperate) climate for grass.
The only thing I'd disagree with is the calories business. We don't use calorific energy, hence calories are completely irrelevant. Whatever we eat, our calorific usage is zero.
Try these possibilities: . Kerrygold Grass-Fed Butter - This Irish butter, made from the milk of grass-fed cows, is available at several online stores like Organics.ph, and it can be purchased for around ₱335 for a 227g block . 2. Anchor Grass-Fed Butter - This New Zealand butter is popular for cooking, baking, and spreading, and is also available in the Philippines through various stores . 3. Local Brands - Some stores like The Green Grocer Manila sell locally made, grass-fed butter from Bukidnon, but availability can be limited .
Thank you for your video I'm following you from Dubai in fact I'm trying to find the best organic one that available here which is organic from Germany and France but I never find some butters from Australia or newzeland. Kerry gold we have but it's mixed with seeds oil I'm avoiding it
I just can’t stand the taste of butter. Maybe because I grew up with margarine, which has no taste. Also the store bought stuff might not be the best but still, the taste isn’t “tasty.” On the other hand, bacon fat rocks.
