Installing drip rails with a gasket 73-87 c10. Part of the 83k20 build

Getting the drip rails installed on my 83 k20. Since no one reproduces a gasket for these I used some 3m strip caulk. Not sure I like it but time will tell and it seems to do the job of cushioning and sealing the screw holes in the cab. Let me know what you used on this without putting metal to fresh paint.
