It's likely she panicked and fled the gate waiting for it to get unblocked.
The Jill that ran away from the exit. She was in guard chase before and the knight has an add on that gives him mini blood warden for the survivor who is getting guard chased which lasts like 14 seconds after the chase ended or something. She did not actually misplay unless that add on was not in play
why couldnt she just hit by the guard and just stand and do nothing? from what i've read the gates are not blocked for 15 seconds, more like 3 seconds. you're reading the second part of the addon

Might be interesting to find out how long it does block the gate in a custom game for public knowledge

Knight gets a ton of hate, which sucks because it's both understandable, but there's so many cool things about his design and idea. From just the animations, to the concept of having underlings. Got me thinking about what if instead of having to make patrol trails for his underlings, you had rally banners that you could plant down in spots, then channel a minion to march towards a rally banner. Idk if the various underlings have different stats now, but it would be fitting if they did so you had to cycle appropriately so you didn't accidentally send the slow-ass one across the entire map, since you gotta wait for his fat ass to get there and despawn before you can use him again.
I'm garbage at DBD but I had a thought about Knight: Play him as a M1 killer, bring perks to make M1s easier, as a slowdown, just have your summons chase someone while you're downing someone else? Like just have them patrol gens to use them as a slowdown.

So according to the dbd wiki, 2 people complete a generator in ~52.94 seconds. Add Prove Thyself on top of that and they could’ve easily completed that gen in 58 seconds.
2 people on a gen makes repair speed for each survivor 0.85 , x 2 is 1.7 which is 170% speed on the gen, 90s ÷ 1.7 is 52. provethys math is weird, it does +15% of the reduced speed which is 0.85, this means provethy adds 12.75%, added for both survivors its 1.95% speed in total, this means the gen with provethy takes 46.15s . so yeah 6 seconds but makes sense.
to be fair you were probably close enough to that gen but the way DBD sound is it was most likely muffled since you were behind that scenery. Either way even if it were 0 progress all 3 dwights piled on it shortly after that unhook. A gen being done in less than 40 seconds is very possible

Scott, Prove Thyself saves 6 seconds on a gen with 2 people, but having 2 people automatically saves you about 24 seconds, so they did the gen with the toolbox and Prove in about a minute. That's normal. Yes it was fast but, within expected time frames. This is why nobody plays killer. 5:13
Scott Jund doesn't read patch notes, if he did read them he would know that after falling from a height Boil Over doesn't give a wiggle insta scale, you need to have a decent scale for Boil Over to work
