We were given a camper that's exactly like yours. But we don't know the year. How many years did they do the door on the ceiling like that? And does your camper have a battery?
so this is connected to the crank, the latch just looks like a piece of bent metal you might have to just recreate the hook yourself. I know what it latches onto is called a roll pin. I had to get a set of roll pins because some of them started to break and you have to replace them.
I am rehabbing a 1984 Coleman Columbia and would like to do solar and lights like you have. Could you tell me how you have it wired to the battery and the size of your inverter?
The LED lights I got were this www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083XHRQST/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . its currently unavailable but there are a lot just like it. and the solar panel I have is www.amazon.com/dp/B08RZ1KBW7/ref=dp_cr_wdg_tit_nw_mr?th=1 . When I got the camper it did not have a battery so i bought one from amazon www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SW353M8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 the battery is wired to the "Converter" in the camper that runs all the 12V accessories. I used the charge controller from the solar panel which has a load function to essentially allow power to the "converter" to power the 12v accessories. I do not have an invertor set up at the moment but that is a next project, i currently just use a 12v cigarette lighter socket style invertor if i need the ac power knowing that it will not last long and the solar panel is not meant for this purpose. The solar panel is basically a trickle charger and can keep the battery topped off for like charging phones or laptops. For the ceiling lights i hijacked the wiring going to the ceiling light and ran the 12v led light strip off the power that was already going up there.
What kind of connection to you have for your propane? I am trying restore a 1986 Coleman Newport and I'm not sure about the line for the propane to the stove.
i used a harbor fright regulator ( www.harborfreight.com/propane-regulator-with-5-ft-hose-63648.html ) and connected it to the existing copper propane connections. I also hade to get a small threaded adaptor from the regulator to the copper connections and use some yellow tape for the threaded gas connections to prevent leaks.
I have looked for a one wing camper for ages. I'm suffering from camper envy! 😝

i know from the mid 80's to sometime in the 90's they had the doors on the roof like that.
Any idea what the latch piece at 2 min 30 is called? I have a similar camper but can't get this thing to catch.

I assume you eliminated the other bed. If you did it looks nice. I would like to do that to mine. Don't need it and it frees up the dinette.
@@chrismellios1287 This model the jamestown. did not come with a second slide out.
What metal/material is the base of the camper? Looking to remodel one we just purchased and don’t want to damage when I strip the paint
the subfloor is made of wood and there is some flooring glued on top it looks like. If you look under the trailer it is just wood.
