For all the curiuos people who want to now about the rms , i'ts 1300w peak, 1000w continious and 650w rms, i got this information from jbl company greetings from belgium
@@dustintrombly power is only really important for bass. for everything else SPL is more important. SPL is as much about efficiency as power. unfortunately for bass efficiency is fundamentally limited by cabinet volume and so power is a must. but plastic speakers typically need a subwofer anyway so SPL is more relevant than watts for a plastic speaker. also the cheaper the speaker the more fake the watts become. for a speaker like this you should be able to find it in a store that lets you hear it, unless you can order it from a place that allows free returns. please don't make assumptions about real-world performance based on advertised power figures.
Doest it remember the last EQ setting used when power is turned off and back on, or does the EQ setting need be selected every time it is turned on? This would be a deal breaker for me. Thx
I was waiting for something like this. I mean, if you think about it. A Jbl Boombox is going for anywhere from $400 to $500 where you can get something like this 1300 watt beast for $379.. Not only am I buying 1 I’m getting 2 of these bad boys.. $758 for 2,600 watts.. I’m all in....
I just bought two for my rock band for small clubs. They did pretty good. My two grips. They should have put the same handles on both sides. On one side and the top there is a great handle. On the other side there's an indentation not a handle that's hard to grab. It's really annoying and might be a deal-breaker for me when I'm trying to break down in a hurry and it's even annoying when you're putting the speaker up on a pole. The other gripe is there's no white lines on the volume knobs so it's impossible to see where they are. I had to cut little white strips of electric tape so that's really not a big deal. I would pay more for lights in the knobs. They are light and sound good. Why do they say 300 watts on the back but they are supposed to be 1300
Is the Master Volume independent to the passthru/output? Can you use the output to send signal to the desk? (So the JBL becomes like a mixer and a monitor)
I have the 12" model. I highly recommend it to anyone considering the purchase. However, I have one question for JBL Professional (or anyone capable of answering it): If I were to buy a 2nd 12" JBL IRX speaker of the exact same model, would I be able to sync the 2 speakers together via bluetooth (so I wouldn't need to run an XLR cable to the 2nd speaker)? I currently run an XLR cable from my single 12" JBL IRX speaker (Channel 1) to my RODECaster Pro's L & R outs (XLR to dual 1/4" adapter). However, I'm about to do a much larger venue which requires a 2nd speaker. The added expense of a 100+ ft XLR is something I'd like to ignore if at all possible. Thanks in advance for your help!
Yeah, you can play TWS via Bluetooth the speakers should be identical Irx112. Can you test VOCAL preset? The manual says vocal preset should apply 100Hz Hpf filter, but its not filtering 100Hz frequencies here.
I am a JBL fan, I normally use JBL 15’s for weddings and events. I’ve used these at small events for a year now. They sound great, but not made to really get loud enough for an party of 75 or more. Mine get hot and turn off if you let the red light sporadically go on. I mainly do weddings so I’m not driving the hell out of them. Just disappointed in the getting hot so easy and turning off.
You need to learn something. More Speakers in moderate volume is going to be better than 1 Speaker too loud. You get to have many speakers to sonorize a small area. If the lights are red for you, you exageratte
