Artillery and SAMs are some of the most important parts of this game.. I prefer Sams to air superiority fighters because my Sam's dont need to refuel or take damage when they engage other aircraft..
I always make a huge stack of units when invading a country, I never lost a war with this and I only have to send one stack of this troops mix. It includes 5 main battle tanks, 5 infantry, 5 mobile sam, 5 AA, 5 MRL, and one mobile radar. This stack alone always takes care of a country even if they have the strongest air force
A stack of special forces could counter that. If you want to get super strategic, you could lure that stack in with special forces, then drop a few conventional ballistics missiles on both armies. The special forces would be fine for the most part, your vehicles wouldn't though.

@@carlossandoval9102 Yeah, the mobile radar units could detect them if they're maxed out. Otherwise, radar units aren't able to identify stealth units (like F-35s or Special forces). Honestly, if you were beside me, the second I saw a lvl 3 army base under construction, I'm sending everything I have at you.
5:56 European Mobile Artillery level 4 got 36 HP and level 3 33 HP meaning if you want to play a match and use this unit, European Doctrine is the way to go while speaking about extra hit points, best nation that suits this is France, Germany and Brazil since this countries got 2 components cities in their homelands
SAM is one of the most overpowered unit in this game: they shoot every 10 min instead of every hour, they start shooting the moment the enemy's patrol circle touches the airdefense circle (so effective range can be 150), and they start functioning when landing/deploying. Also, no one mentioned their powerful anti-insurgency abillity: they have high unit strength, roughly ,1SAM=2 infantry, so having two SAMs or 1SAM+ 1infantry in a newly occupied city is often enough to surpress insurgency chance to zero. This is why I always keep spamming SAMs non stop even when there is no imminent air threat--I use them to hold newly occupied cities. But they are vulnerable to helis and cannot deal with emergency situation, so they cannot completely replace the role of fighters.
I think arteries are useless if you don't have membership of security council you can't use fire control if you offline other player arteries attack you and you arteries is do nothing and just defending what you think Melliodas?if some one not have membership how they use arteries?
Even the default mode will still attack an enemy radar or an enemy it can see as long as it is stopped, so it is still useful then. Obviously you have to make sure it doesn’t run into enemy units in melee

I always wanted to use support unit but every player I come across, uses land army a lot with tanks and I stays offline a bit and that's why I don't want my artillery to stay at one place , beside I do use Anti missile system and sometime SAM's if my enemies has bomber and jets especially if they have naval jets cuz Bomber take time to attack and take time to leave the radar range , that's good

Research mobile radar to lv5 to open it, after upgrade to lv3 or tier 2, mobile radar have low signature to detect all of land unit, where land unit have low radar signature. You can detect it by fight them, using recon vehicle or mobile radar lv 3+. Awacs maybe have greater range than mobile radar, but awacs can't exact detect land unit like mobile radar do.
Hi - i have some questions hah: How much HP is each missle. So what you need to stop each of the missles? For instance you can stop nuke with level1 TD if in the city? If yes it will not get damged? Can you cover 2 cities with 3 TDs? How much HP are all the others missles? How many SAMs i need in stack to protect from smaller missles?
Mobile radar is broken. I had it max level and I could use mrr to destroy the enemy units from far. I held off in a 2v1 until I became stupid and left my cities vulnerable to naval invasion
Try playing using a island country like England, Japan, Philippines, or Indonesia, you can feel how important of navy to defend your home land. Build a navy, hold the choke point, and your home land will be safe from naval intrusion.
I always build mobile radars but I recently wonder if they can be completely replaced by AWACS. That mobile radar can detect infantry at lvl.3 (Tier 2) is sometimes a disadvantage aganst human players, because in the first phase of the war I want to locate the position of enemy artillery and air defense (high threat targets), and don't want those low-threat infantry to appear on my radar to add complexity to my task.

I owned a helicopter gunship when I attacked the anti-aircraft gunship. He was able to easily destroy the helicopter ganships. I didn't understand what happened.
what is an anti aircraft gunship? do you mean mobile anti air? in that case, gunships do very bad damage to armoured targets while anti air does a lot of damage to helis
10:00 I noticed that if you attack with helicopter the SAM units it steel shoot back. Yes description said it not able to shoot helis but in my case it did .
Mrl can attack navy isn't it bro...? M artillery can fulfill the job of armored units when its maximum level and support from 2 infinataries level 5, With attack helicopters which is really cheap. And Sam launchers against air.
I figured it out I was watching your fight against Duong and You accidentally left your artillery stacked with sam's on Hold fire That's why Your sam's did not attack Russias stealth ASF If you have artillery stacked with sam's and You leave them on hold fire Your entire stack will be on hold fire and Not do anything PS hold fire is a feature in CoN which makes Artillery and Ships not attack an enemy
What would you say about my only ground setup (I mostly use it when my Koalition alr uses navi and airforce), Main battle tanks for earlygame and to tank my mobile artillery’s and SAMs + antiair and radars

I have won many games by just countering air and missiles with sams and theater defense and not making any mobile anti air AAA units.. Because 90 percent of public players dont use helicopters ... I on the other hand love using helicopters especially if I'm eastern or western doctrine
I usually cover my armor unit using mobile AA + mobile radar for recon. For home land defense, radar + theater defense (for anti balistic) + mobile AA or sam is good enough. Mobile AA at fully upgrade maybe not strong enough as sam, but they (mobile AA) can attack helo where sam can't do it, and mobile AA have some att and def againts infantry and armor unit, where sam don't have it.

You forgot to discuss the radar signature! Why a radar detects a Recon vehicle but not an infantry unit!

nope get rid of the tanks. they are too expensive to research and produce. the late game strat is great though

You're probably using "rush" command while moving. You lose 5 hp for each unit in the stack per hour while rushing to destination
