Even though the game didn’t go the way we wanted, UT vs UTSA has to be a rivalry game every year! As an alumni, I can’t even begin to tell you how much UTSA fans hate to be compared to Texas in every way lol. Even though we’re obviously no comparison just yet, we always have very strong feelings when UT comes into the conversation. Hope to see the UT vs UTSA storyline become a bigger part of the series in the future. Love the series and can’t wait to see more! Much love from San Antonio, Birds Up and Go Runners!🤙🏼
Texas definitely showed where you need to build in recruiting to compete with the top Big 12 teams. Their D line just dominated your offensive line, and although your defense overachieved much of the game, they wore your defense down. Just gotta get stronger and more resilient. Also, a LOT of drops today really killed drives while the game was still competitive unfortunately
I know I'm watching this 4 months later, but a good way I discovered to defend option teams is to use a 5 man front or 4-4, have your DEs audible to QB contain so they are covering the edge then blitz an extra LB to cover the dive play. Then shift the line to the side you think the play is going to go. The only way they can beat you is if somehow the QB and pitch man get to the second level without anyone challenging. It's kinda hectic to do all of the manual audibles at the line like that before each snap but it's effective. I play as Virginia Tech usually and use it when going against Georgia Tech.
Please more of this more often! I can’t get enough! I’m also so stoked for this draft, most excited I’ve been in years. Even though my Seahawks are going to draft Troy Anderson with the ninth overall pick
What I usually did with similar recruiting house rules was to upgrade my scouting so I could scout someone 100% in one swoop. Then once they committed, you can immediately get the ratings at once instead of having to open up a few every week. I say it isn't worth scouting if its gonna take multiple weeks to unlock all skills.
Great game, considering the start. Really want to see Bob Young more. Especially if the Oklahoma game is a blowout, would love for him to get a few drives (maybe even the 4th?). Great experience against top level competition
I think the slider set has been very good. For scouting, I would say that you should scout 25% when you add a player to the board, up to 50% when you sign them (or are prohibitively in the lead to sign them), and then wait for the full ratings on signing day.
I think maybe like you could pick 2 prospects a week to scout. Not fully obviously but scout the 10% so you can have a good slow progression on learning about these players. Cuz if you think about it youll prob watch their games week by week and learn more and more about the players you are going for.
Can you please tell me how you made it so the punter and kicker would kick on their own? I want to do that and apply it to the QB as well. I have cfbr, I have a db editor.
I wonder if the revamped has altered cpu play calling at all. They seem to really like draws on third and long seemingly not even trying to convert. Maybe I just haven't played the game in a while.
Great to see UTSA compete how they did. Definitely need some more talent on D in order to take the next step. No need to scout that QB imo cause you need all the points you can get right now to try and get a few more commits.
Came you should definitely should not scout at all cause if you learn their attributes you would know that info and subconsciously make decisions based on that
I’ve always wondered, how do you have the score ticker on the bottom of the screen? Is that an obs thing you do while recording, a post recording thing, or something you can add to the game proper?
Cane I'm so depressed. Texans BLEW the first round. Instead of the best CB sauce we got Stingley who hasn't been great since his injury....Could have had Hamilton at 15 nah got an oline guy. At #3 you don't pick for possible upside you pick them Gaurntee not the guy who hasn't had one int in two years....Anyway thanks for posting
I think it'd be more fun and more realistic to wait for the players you sign to show up on campus before you know how good they are, aka no scouting at all
Not realistic. Scouts have a good idea of most of a players attribute by the time they offer them a scholarship. Even if he just did 50% it would be fair
#startyoung It's obvious to anyone who isn't blind that Newton's not the answer. If UTSA recovers that onside kick, Young drives them to another TD guaranteed.
Playcalling. Your missing open players. Call more post routs 3 wide set slot wr post routs run north and south more again in the 3 wide set. Play as the d end rather than safety. I'd kill texas in that game
Texas being good, you can tell it’s a video game
As an Arkansas fan, this comment was as funny as it was true
Honestly UTSA real team last year would’ve beaten Texas lmao
Facts 😂 #boomersooner
As a texas tech fan and student I can get behind this statement
@@Gamertime2782 didn’t they hang 70 on you? 🤡

Something funny is he said that linebacker was undersized at 216lbs, the same guy that recruited Jonathan Starks heavily, lol
Red Hood (Jason Todd) is officially part of the Caneverse

Great game but I felt that there were not as many possessions as an actual college game. Can't wait to see more!
This game was closer UTSA finished with 65 plays and Texas finished with 52.

I also definitely think 9 minutes will give you a more realistic number of plays
Great game, considering the start.

Young is the best QB on this roster. By far.
Not usually a fan of gray uniforms, but those actually look nice.
Ayyyyy i love this series! Draft Day though!!!! Cant wait to cry when the Giants take fricking Evan neal and kyle hamilton!
Can’t wait when the saints take a lineman
Cookie he didn't even try to scramble he forced bad passes and didn't challenge the touchdown
Can't wait till the Patriots trade out of the first
I love that you are first 🤘🤘🤘
what’s the point of the 2-FB system if you’re gonna keep running wildcat & jet sweeps?
Better question, why not use the fullback on the 3 and shorts instead of trying to go run it outside?
as a left hander, in on the START YOUNG train!!!!
The pass pro in this game was Joe burrow Last year in every game 😅

That TD with square at 9:30 woulda been a sick scramble

Joe wright's drops are killing this team

i like bob young quick passer
You should give the ball to the FBs more
Jason Todd’s nickname should be red hood
You can tell the roadrunners can put up a fight, but when your O line gets destroyed like that you got no shot.
I love this series

i think once a player commits you should scout them to see what you got. maybe wait until the off-season for like "big time" commits.
Came you should definitely should not scout at all cause if you learn their attributes you would know that info and subconsciously make decisions based on that

My lord the end arounds haven't worked once let it go lol
At least UTSA showed some fight.
Need a new episode 😭😭
Love it Cain
anyone else notice how Casey Thompson and Cook on Texas both wear 11?
U can wear the same number in college if ur on the other side of the ball
Yes The db editor allows people to wear the same number a corner and bijan Robinson the running back both wear 5
I think that you should try to bring some more pressure.
Should of ran it with newton on 4th, you needed 2 and you had space for the 1st down
Texas actually plays them this year also
I think once you have them committed you can scout
It’s probably time to stop running the toss lol
DC not adjusting the option defense to account for the QB is not great coaching
Are you treating young like real life redshirt where they can play in 4 games and still redshirt or are you just keeping it
Lewis Cine instead of McDuffie. Not too bad
Recruit all the linemen.
This team is close just needs a few more pieces
After legally changing my name to Boof Cobb, I'm thinking about changing it again to Gasetoto Cypress LaFrance II.

That’s literally what he is doing…

@@liter83 cane literally asked if he should scout now or leave it at the end
Not realistic. Scouts have a good idea of most of a players attribute by the time they offer them a scholarship. Even if he just did 50% it would be fair
Not a number rating obviously in real life. But they have enough of an idea to know when someone is better at something than someone else
Fix the O-line and the defense front 4
Yo defense kept u alive but it’s obvious u need a O-line an a QB
Start Bob young next week
go roadrunners
MORE
Cane tell me who you think my bengals are talking at 31 ? I want linderbaum badddd
I don't think he falls that far, but that'd be a hell of a pick if he did
A lot of people think that's where he ends up going. Someone ahead might love him though. Hard to say once the premium position guys are gone.
Every mock I've seen this week has the Bengals taking Linderbaum.
Get a pipeline with Mississippi

He doesn't control the defensive player. He let's the CPU do as much as possible.
I kinda wish cane would get back into basketball
