Your video instantly reminded me of my cousin, who used the same phrase just recently. At the time, I wasn't sure about its meaning, but your mention of TikTok clarified it. Eagerly anticipating more of your content, and by the way, you're absolutely captivating. I'm excited to see and hear more from you soon! Your beauty shines through in your videos.😉 I'm posting this as a TH-cam comment to express my support! 🙂
This format. More videos like this! Now speak on the proof that your on the right track and How that it’s time to believe the good things that’s in front of you (you did get approved for the apartment. You did pass this semester- keep going)
We call this stage the epiphany phase. You get conscious of your biological clock ticking, you finally realize your type doesn’t offer you stability so you have to settle for a safer “provider type”. Only issue is your attraction to him will fade out pretty fast coz you am had a type, so you break the relationship up after two kids, roughly at the 4 to 6 year mark, and the excuse? Coz y’all grew apart. And back to the cycle of your type, you don’t need no man, men ain’t ish and all that mess women talk about. This is how 25% of black women ever experience marriage, 80% + of black children are born out of wedlock, and to a minority of black men.
that's why we need to stand on our boundaries and only give access to those that meet our non negotiable standards.. the issue is way deeper than this though. We can't keep blaming women for mens’ short comings.
black women are marginalized in every aspect of life from the workplace to healthcare. we need to admit that black men often exploit this vulnerability for their own personal gain. for too many years we blamed the "Ms Independent" type instead of blaming "Mr WeDontLoveTHeMhOeS:" men need to start holding other men accountable for their actions in all relationships, not just romantic ones. this racial infighting distracts the working class from the real battle we face from the financial powers above. keep your head up but learn to listen to women before speaking on them
