Awesome cards man! Thanks for sharing!
Great return Sammy! Thanks for sharing, such a cool Mays!
Thanks man. I'm glad it made it back safely and finally glad to have it graded.
Hi Sammy. Being a Ryan collector, the 77 OPC is beautiful. Great Schimdt and 74 Ryan too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Jim! Let me know if you have any interest in either.
Nice returns, Sammy. Some solid grades for sure. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Thanks man. I'm really pleased with the outcome despite a few lower grades.
Great cards, Sammy. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Sweet cards, Sammy! Congrats, the Ryan and Mays are amazing!
Thanks Billy. Any interest in the Ryan? :)
@SammyThunder I would love to have it, but I'm still on post National save mode. I won't have any hobby money until November or December pribably. I appreciate it, though.
Great reveal Sammy!!! The OPC in the 9, holy smokes! The call bulletin, is definitely cool, a 5 is a great grade!
Thanks Theo. It's incredible that the Ryan scored that high. I think there are only one or two others in that grade with SGC, so it's very special.
That 83 TT Strawberry is one of my favorite cards 😍 That Ryan OPC is beautiful
Thanks man. The Straw is available :)
Sammy- my heart stopped for a second when first saw that ‘77 Ryan! Holy Toledo what a card! That ‘56 topps Mathews in the 6 is Suh-wheat Sammy! Beautiful card. Great Ron Cey rookie too! Beautiful ‘60 Ted. Tape stains add character! I have sent a couple of high end looking’ 74 topps to SGC and gotten nothing back but 6. That ‘77 Brett is terrific too.
Thanks CK. The Ryan was definitely a nice surprise. I had high hopes for a high grade and I'm glad that it held true. There were a lot of great returns in this submission.
Great reveal . Enjoyed seeing that mays again
Thanks Adam!
Nice grades coming back Sammy!
Sammy, fantastic reveal, my collecting brother! 😊👊
Good to hear from you man. It's been too long.
Great stuff. That Ryan 9 is amazing. Congrats.
Thanks JD. It's for sale if you have interest.
Woooo awesome stuff brother. Especially that Teddy
Thank you Jayson. I'll get back to you shortly about the Ted.
Nice stuff, Sammy! I would agree, SGC has great customer service when you reach out. My order was a little slow for what was expected, but they were great communicating. Fantastic results for sure!
What did you send that you thought slowed things down?
@SammyThunder it was my last submission, so it has some unique early 1900s stuff. Between size and identification, it didn't surprise me too much. They also called for the upcharge on the Bowman Jackie. Seems like the early 1900s stuff has so much size variety that the custom case takes time. PSA just drops it in a baggy and calls it done after a few months 🤣
Great sub. That Ryan in a 9 is something!
Thanks man. It's available for sale.
Dude! That OPC Brett is amazing! And a 9 Ryan?!?! Sheesh. And what a cool Mays ❤
Yeah man. I got incredibly lucky at the Garfield show. One of the dealers, who is a viewer of the channel, told me about this collection of cards that he obtained, so I purchased about five stars from the 77 OPC lot that he had. The Brett and Ryan were in there.
@@SammyThunder wow
Hi Sammy. Really nice review, specially those 2 OPC cards. Man, they are spectacular. That Mays is my favourite reveal. Love seeing that old stuff, specially in that good of condition. Overtime could mean more money for cards, lol. Enjoy the Philly show my friend, maybe I`ll make another one of them next year, you never know. Talk soon my friend.
OT definitely means more money for cards and savings for a down payment. Two plans in motion.
@@SammyThunder That sounds like a fantastic plan, all the best in saving for a down payment. Talk soon my friend.
The Ryan 9 is a WOW, great card! Your right, it is very hard to find a good left to right on the Ron Cey Rookie Card😃
I like how we both agree it is the Ron Cey rookie card. 😅
Those are really nice. Congratulations on a nice reveal.
Thanks Math!
Awesome cards, congrats
Thanks Orlando.
Great return Sammy! Fantastic grades on the o pee chee cards you killed it. Should get you into a cool card.
Thanks Jason!
Really enjoyed this video, Mays and Ryan look great thanks sammy
Thanks Don. The Ryan will be made available if you have interest.
i'm interested in the 73 Schmidt RC
The Schmidt has sold. Sorry man
Loved the OPC Ryan!! Hard set to get a high grade!!
Thank you!
Great stuff, Sammy. Some stunners. I have found that SGC can have several different ways of categorizing cards which makes grading and getting true pop counts confusing. PSA does a much a better job at this. Just submitted a Red Man with Tab at SGC and there were 2 different ways to submit it by category. I really like SGC but that feels amateurish to me. Not a super big deal.
Again, sweet cards. Talk soon.
Just a misunderstanding on my part, but I'm getting the hang of using their POP Report.
Nice share and thanks for sharing with us!
Thanks Steve!
Some awesome returns. That Nolan Ryan in a 9 is a stunner. Thanks again for having me on cardboard and cold ones. I had a lot of fun. Have a good weeeknd.
Thanks Mike. The Ryan is available if you have any desire for one :). Always glad to have you on man. I'll create a VR soon. Just been busy with work and all.
Thanks for sharing. What's the asking price for Rickey?
$135 Shipped
That Mays is something that you just don't see. Beautiful! Did yours rate high in the pop report?
I think it's actually low or in the middle of the report.
I have the George Brett rookie card too, but the Topps Mini. I think best value, is the Robin Yount. He was not a better player than Brett, my apologies to Dylan, but it's true. Though he probably doesn't have much respect in the hobby, as he should. I also like the Ron Cey rookie card as well. The Penguin featuring Michael Jack Schmidt. I guess that Schmidt guy, he was pretty good. Very nice Willie. Best wishes at your next show. I am going to the Mid-Atlantic on Sunday, and then there's going to be another one in November.
Thanks Andrew. How was the show?
@@SammyThunder There was a Sandy Koufax rookie card, for $1,400 dollars. I offered what I thought was a fair offer at $1,200 dollars The vendor was firm with his price. He was kind of rude too. Then I talked to Chris Sewall, who, was also at the show, and he agreed it was a good offer. It is what it is. I gave well my Dad gave Chris, my contact information, so maybe he will help me be able to locate one for me. It's a good show. Just kind of stinks when some of the vendors not only don't want to work with you, but have an unfriendly demeanor. Oh well. I went home with the $1,200 dollars still in my pocket.
Great reveal Sammy!
The OPC Ryan in a 9 and the Mays in a 5 are fantastic grades.
Is the Schmidt RC for sale?
Thanks Steve. The Schmidt has been sold.
@@SammyThunder thanks Sammy
