  • For this dive, I hopped on the boat with Aquatic Life Divers to go offshore and witness the world's largest migration that happens every night! This vertical diurnal migration brings up critters from the deep, dark sea right to the surface within reach. It was a very hypnotizing and feels like you're in another world! A must-do in Kona!

    What is the creature at 3:54 and 4:42?

      At 3:54 it’s a pelagic seahorse (Hippocampus fisheri) and at 4:42 it’s a winged box jelly with a larval fish that gets captured by a tentacle.

      @@jonathanbarnes3213 That is a calycophorae siphonophore from the group Diphyinae. There isn't a box jellyfish.
