Addicted to your auction videos. I've been riding for 10+ years at this point and I don't own any horses, but I'm hoping in the next few years I'll feel educated enough to purchase one. After watching probably three or four of your videos I already feel much more informed on what to look for, conformation etc. Thank you so much!
She was a beautiful color, and clearly very sweet, but you made the right choice skipping the Appy, I think. Her movement, especially the turning and ways she also seems to trip- or almost buckle under her own weight- when she's walking, reminds me of an old giant dog breed walking stiffly after laying in the cold for too long... Poor girl definitely had something going on. I appreciate the fact you don't sugarcoat or shy away from showing the reality of the things you see at auctions, not all horses are so lucky to _be_ lucky.
Bagheera is a name that suits him so well. Such a handsome boy. I hope he is a huge asset to your program. I think your choosing him was a good call, Shae. Thanks for sharing another exciting video. ox🐎
He is a she. Took her heart horse to tell her. She did keep the name. If you watch these videos you already know. I thought when I saw this horse Shae bought it and I was right. Happy trails to you and God bless.
Following your narration, I could see what you were talking about with the stiffness in the appaloosa mare when she turned. I believe you did the right thing here. Bagheera, a beautiful black mare, would have just gone to yet another auction and perhaps to not as good a home as yours. Now she has a forever home. 🐴❤
I brought the trailer with me today but I am not going to buy anything. You bought something. I knew it! What a little cutie, and solid black as well. Awesome!
This video is sweet and a little funny to watch in hindsight. I don't know all the work that went into Bagheera behind the scenes, but, definitely a beautiful and kind horse. Thank you for sharing!
She’s beautiful. But gotta watch at the auctions. Especially the fishers( guy who took him). I purchased a palomino gelding from him several years ago here in PA. Nothing like they said he was, but is by far the best horses I’ve ever owned!
These videos give me hope I can pick a nice horse someday. Ive always worked with racehorses so regular horses are kind of hard to gauge lol The black one is absolutely gorgeous. Also the snowflake appaloosa was definitely lame on her right front leg.
Finally found this video. That is so funny that bagheera turned out to be a mayor and you thought it was a gelding. That's so cute! She is so beautiful. I love her story. I'm so glad I finally found this❤

Especially at such a low price, I think you literally found a diamond in the rough 😊 He's such a handsome boy with a great disposition 🐎 He seems to be very quiet, and yes a very kind soul. God Bless you for not allowing him to be put through another auction.....or even worse, be purchased by a "kill buyer" lord knows he's exactly what they look for 😡 good weight wich will bring them 💲💲😡. I hate to say it, but unfortunately it does happen. My husband and myself had a ranch for over 20yrs where we bred, raised, showed, and pleasure rode quarter/paints. I also love color 😃. I love that you judge horses not only on size and conformation, but pay an equal amount of attention to their personality when meeting them. Thank you for sharing with us your process of evaluating each horse at auctions, and the pros and cons of each horse or pony.
WOW WOW WOW!!! Excellent video; especially the cinematography 😊😊😊. Every horse was breathtaking. I never expected,,,, and so glad you did buy him. You read my mind. I was going to ask you to show trailering and so glad you did. He is going to love his new home. I like this auction video the most because it shows all the different things you do to get to the auction, check the horses, bid, buy and take your new friend home. Next video can you please talk about the Appaloosa horse; characteristics, ride, gait and why they are your favorite?

I have 3 standardbred crosses. I think they are wonderful. However, I am personally not interested in a full standardbred. They are lovely but not what I’m looking for.
Well the auctioneer called it a gelding and the owner used the "he" pronoun in referring to the horse. Some info you expect to be accurate. But you should let the auction house know they messed up. Good that you are happy and can laugh at your own mistakes. I respect that! Love your channel!

I’ve been hooked on Appaloosas since my first official show pony, which was a POA. After I outgrew him, I obtained a 4yr old blue roan Appy who was a more traditional Nez Perce type with the egg-shaped spots over a white blanket, and then later a sorrel speckled Appy gelding from up state New York of all places (I’m a midwestern girl). Supposedly his sire was a Quarter Horse racer. I suppose technically he was a roan too, come to think on it.
Just discovered this video and was so confused when you kept calling Bagheera 'him'. 😂 I had no idea B was a no sale horse and you actually went to look at her after the auction. Glad you passed on the appy, there was definitely something wrong. She was painful to watch.

I'm so glad you bought him aka her Shae! someone fate/god/spirit/soul mate knew they would be the perfect horse for your future. They became the best Nanny for Bell, Esmerelda, and Ariel. Also so funny that you found out He was actually a she.
In this video I kept seeing a boy riding a small pony. Wasn't it Buzz Lightyear?? But you didn't buy him at that sale. I'll have to look at Buzz videos again, but the markings look "spot on" :)
