I am REALLY glad I found a band with an aesthetic very similar to Animals as Leaders (a band I really respect), but with a more sinister and chaotic sound. This is terrific. It's as if AaL was infused with Buckethead a la "Cuckoo Clocks of Hell". Awesome!
I hope one day Ron can get the rights to these scenes and release a full video album together in high quality. It's a shame the other two videos were removed from TH-cam, I assume for that reason. This is literally one of my favorite metal projects/anything that has ever existed.

I 100% agree. Ron is a genius, he has invented his own music system and performs it to perfection. Most composers are mainly composers and not players, he is the epitome of both. I would honestly say one of the most brilliant composers AND players... EVER.

been listening to this on spotify & I didn't know this video existed till I saw an interview with Ron Jarzombek the guitarist from blotted science talking about how he created it & how he had to manually sync up the parts using 2 computers unfortunately do to copyrights he couldn't include it with the record.
-thanks to it, people who didn't ear about Slither may be interested to watch it, and it means, more DVD saled and rented. -this musician is a real and talkable person, someone who can give us credits for the movie, etc. We can have free publicity here! And this will guarantee that no one not allowed will publish our movie, because this guy wants to protect his rights too. - the music is incredible and do not harm to the qualities of the movie - in fact, it complement it very well.
Check out Amogh Symphony for fuck sake. That band is out of this world. Ron himself is a huge fan of Amogh Symphony as he has talked about them in various guitar clinics and they've even listed them in the recommended section of their bandcamp page. The album "The Quantum Hack Code" will blow the mind of any Blotted/AAL fan.
Actually the whole EP is written as a soundtrack to different scenes of horror movies with insects...the machinegun timing would be an awesome cohincidence....
It's Schoenberg's system almost verbatim. Other composers like Webern and Boulez expanded upon it until we got serialism, which is probably what you're thinking of. The fact that he can employ it so idiomatically is what gets me. Even Schoenberg himself seemed to have trouble with that!

I have listened and checked out this videos with the blotted science music, and back in the days I never noticed how greatly Ron Jarzombed managed to made the musicalization for this scene, everything just matches ¨machine precision¨ !!
Like cattheanarchist said, Ron's system is very different from serialism. In short, Ron's system is a way to divide and group the 12 notes without the intention of making every note equal, whereas for serialism every note has to be of (more or less) equal importance to each other to give the effect of atonality. Ron even posted something discussing the fact that his system has nothing to do with serialism on his website, you should be able to find it with google.
There is footage of them rehearsing, but they never got to tour since they all live so far away from each other, and since Alex and Hannes have obligations to their own bands, Cannibal Corpse and Obscura.
