Yes Bobby went thru a lot and I can relate cuz I went thru addiction, promiscuity with strippers, lots of girls and put people my family thru a lot. But I'm getting thru it and being a better person. This is my favourite version of Is this the End. I wish they would re-record this version. I love the way Ralph sings it in his lower register and Ricky's solo is so powerful and beautiful! Also, the background harmony is on point. ❤

I always thought that Ralph was the lead of this song. I mean I only heard this song a couple days ago because I was checking out all their albums on iTunes. And when I first heard the song I thought it was Ralph only to see that it was Bobby when I checked their performance of Jealous Girl when they were young on TH-cam.
TropicalLegit925 back then they had a similar voice sound before puberty came, but Bobby's seemed more high pitch to me. That's how I could always tell them apart most times

The movie really made me a fan of these guys. Love their showmanship and performance skills years later. I especially love how they can still sing the songs in their original keys, most other artists would have to change the keys but not these guys! New Edition for life!!!!!
Okay you can tell the smoking really ruined Bobby's voice, hardcore. It's so sad cuz he always was my favorite voice in the group next to Johnny, but gawd I absolutely LOVE seeing NE perform with Bobby. I mean to me, no matter what, without Bobby, there was no COMPLETE new edition. Heartbreak is one of my top 2 favorite NE albums, but Home Again is my all time fave. I just can't see this group all the way til their retirement without Bobby. That's me though.

I am so glad I grew up in the 80s. This type of music blessed the ears of many in a Heavenly Poetic way. Black male RnB Groups really impacted the soul in us all. However, to no surprise, White America threw away their dumbass Heavy Metal guitars and decided to rob us of our rhythmic beats of deep Bass and smooth melodic voices as evident in most of the White Singers' songs of today. I shake my head when I think of how Whites had an allegiance to their Heavy metal guitars and hard treble acoustics in all of their music like it was yesterday. However, after successfully robbing black musicians of their "Bass impacted methods' and soulful voices, today's white Artists won't dare to go Heavy Metal or just plain basic Rock. All of their music is loaded with deep Bass sounds and acoustic flows that were once a signature style of African American music.........but not anymore........SMH.
