The fact that you even attempted this deserves praise, but you got it done. Impressive work. Most would have walked away or just said the unit needs to be replaced because there is no access for a proper repair. Love the videos.
@HVACK It wasn't the most fun job haha glad I was able to get it done. Funny thing is, there's 2 more of these to rebuild 🤦♂️ Thank you! 🙏 Thanks for watching 🔧⚡️
Oh man, that was an incredible job you did in a horrible situation. Somebody sure did an awful job with that brickwork! I wonder how many people would have walked away from such a ridiculous setup? Maybe this company went too cheap or somehow upset the people doing brickwork so they ended up doing a lousy job or just hired Bodgit & Scarper because they were 'cheapest' ? Hope your finger is recovering well and I look forward to seeing more videos from you in good health again. :)
I definitely would have to let the customer know billing for diagnostic Going to have to be billed hourly. Once a diagnosis has been made. Parts mark up would be heavy along with labor. Crazy stuff
I would have cut myself an access hole in the panel you were having to go up and behind to get the 4 mounting bolts out, would have made it easier, tin tape it back up when your done, no not pretty but nothing about that was pretty anyways. You got er though , good on ya
@joshuabest100 It was for my main customer, so I did everything I could to make it happen. Many would run away for sure. Most likely tell them they need a new unit and all the bricks would be to be redone. Definitely charged accordingly. Thanks for watching! 🙏🔧⚡️

Good job Jumper.......
Great video. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice weekend and Stay safe out there
You need to pick you up some husky open end ratchet wrenches set
Hope you heal well
Only the best would've taken this job. Looks like they had all that installed then the bricklayers came by and covered everything. good job
Feel better buddy
@scottmaz4063 Thank you brother! Still went to work the next day with a splint 😂 Thanks for watching 🙏🔧⚡️
Good God dude..... I could feel your frustration just watching this.
A tip when you are working on fans, you can take the motor apart and then you can twist the rotor and get the shaft to come out of the fan that way.
I would be a dot on the horizon running away from that job!
Great work, that must be so difficult wrenching and filming and didn’t even drop one thing in that ductwork. Painful about your finger ouch.
you should grab this "proxxon rotary ratchet"
Need a 5/16 flexible head ratchet wrench for those tight to reach spots
@@btoma925 Time to get one! Good advice. Thanks for watching 🤙🙏🔧⚡️

next time see if the clips will fit on the housing holes
That fan was sold as maintenance free. Brick it all in they said.
Whoever decided that putting an exhaust fan there was not very smart. Better hope that whole unit never needs to be replaced lol
Why would they do this, because they knew they weren't ever going to service it. Now you will do it the proper way.
@@scottmaz4063 Facts. Then the brick layers made things even worse 😂 Thanks for watching! 🔧⚡️
Hipe you charged accordingly that was a job not many would take
