    NOTE: Color Burn can cause a weird outline on your text BUT ONLY IF YOU ROTATE the text! Seems like a bug! Only noticed it when I exported the first draft of this video. DOH!

      Too bad for the BUG, the effect with the color burn on the writings is very nice, but I had to avoid the "rotate" and move the writings after rendering the still clip. Thanks for this video. if you do the writing or even drawings always using the "color burn" but from Fusion it does not create this defect and it works well.

      @EruditeMagic 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't rotate my text (just moved it down on the Y axis) and it still created that weird outline 🤷‍♂

    The polaroid effect could be a lot more convincing with a high contrast white for the paper generator and a glossy effect placed over it.

    Great information! I used this recently, I just published my 3rd video and stumbled across the Paper generator. Used it several times throughout the video. But I didn't notice or know about the different options available to make the texture more realistic, and never thought of using blending modes. I used it as-is and it still looked better than a plain white background in my opinion. But I'll try these other things you've taught here. Thanks for all this detail!

      I'm getting better at this Title/Thumbnail game huh?! Hopefully they've not gone too far and becoming annoying ha?! I realised that people won't click 'Paper in Davinci Resolve' because it's boring. Using these 'clickbait' style thumbs/titles HOPEFULLY helps teach people stuff they didn't know they needed to know!

    • @TRyanLearn
      @TRyanLearn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrAlexTech Oh yes , you have definitely cracked the code , not click baity at all because you deliver ,we get whats on the can , with extra spices .Mastering the thumbnail/title game has got to be a priority if you want to get seen .But you already know that in spades and prove it with every video ...thats why we watch .Again I say ..Cheers to you good sir 🍻.

    Your videos convinced me to move to DaVinci Resolve and actually practice some editing.
    I have a problem though: when I play my stuff and there is an audio track, if I have effects such as the color generator or filters (like the CCTV filter you made a tutorial about), my audio plays at a faster speed than it should. The exported version is perfect, but preview is buggy. Do you know how to solve that?

    You could probably set it up to look like a photo album then do a transitional zoom into the image and then into video. You'd just need to capture the image then use the same segment of video maybe with a pause as you zoom into the image and then through it into the video which the image was taken from 🙂
