The camera also seems to make 1 repair take 3 times longer than just getting the job done. Sometimes makes me want to turn the camera off and just fix the problems to have them done.

Aint that the truth! When I'm loaded with work and jobs are lined up I cant take the time to make these videos. Its only when I'm fully caught up and have the time to take my time that I can make them.

Hey buddy , glad to see you. On this KX , the exhaust valves are titanium too ? Explain to me why it's almost almost always the intakes valves that break first ? This valves are titanium right, lighter but stronger so i'm stumped... Thanks Chris !

Hello. Yes the exhaust are titanium too. The intake valves can wear faster than the exhuast if sand and dirt gets past the filter. For some reason after the dirt is burnt it doesnt hurt the exhaust valves. So when it comes to wear it seems to be the intake valves that are more susceptible to wear. However when it comes to valves breaking I seem to find the intakes and exhaust can break if they are ran way way too long. For a MX track bike I suggest changing them out at 200 hours but for a trail bike or play bike that not used nearly as hard they can be ran much longer.

Hey, a couple of weeks ago you were helping me diagnose a problem on my YZ450F, I recently took out the motor and inspected it. The piston was moving on the connecting rod as I believe a circlip/snap ring fell out. There is minimal side to side play on the connecting rod and no up and down play. The piston is loosely on the piston pin. There were vertical scratch marks on the cylinder due to the piston skirts, none deep enough to catch my finger nail. Where would you go from here? I'm gonna tear down the motor to find the remnants of the circlip. Please let me know what you would do in this situation.

Hello. Definitely find the circlip that fell out. How is the upper rod area where the piston in goes though it? You can email pics of the cylinder to upallnight91@hotmail.com if you have some and I will look at it.

Quick question, unrelated to this video but it is your most recent. With your 125, what do you run for jetting, assuming you have a Mikuni. I also am at sea level, do you reccomend the JD jetting kit for the 05-21 Yz125?
