  • We are very lucky to have had the chance to experience the local life in Arusha, Tanzania, the hub of the best safaris in Africa! We stayed for 2 months in an apartment, 20 minutes away from the city center. In this video, we just want to give you an idea what it's like to live more local, in an average local house (not too basic but not within the expat community as well). We were here for work so we mainly moved on routine (going to the office, etc...). Our stay was very memorable but we really missed the comfort of faucet water, hot showers, strong wifi connection, more vegetable options for cooking, and cozy shops along the streets. That's more our vibe but we are still drawn to experience a lifestyle that is usually different from ours. It widens our perspective and reminds us to be thankful for the things we have.

How lovely and interesting. What type of work are you guys doing in Africa. You didnt state your purpose for being there.
Why did you put the house cleaning worker in the video? She was uncomfortable. Please dont do that to those beautiful ppl. Thank you.

Her name is Ana and I've known her since 2015. She's a friend :)
We travel in Africa for work but this blog is solely just sharing our personal experiences to help other fellow travelers.

Hi we're not sure :) We don't really check these things prior to traveling but we do check travel advisories from embassies though we don't always rely on that either
