    I'm a mzungu. I never get those sort of prices when I visit Arusha. But it doesn't stop me from loving Arusha. I visit there every year to see my Arushan friends. I want to marry a Tanzanian lady one day and live in Arusha with her forever :) Amani

    I always try out markets in other cities too, fresh produce and food generally tells you alot about the city's culture. Great vlog, I'll make sure i visit this market when i visit Arusha hopefully soon, now that i know some words.😅❣

    Kilombero Market reminds my childhood.I attended a nursery school near the market.Then there were only two markets i.e Soko la Mjini and Kilombero which was an open air market.

    There I find the foods I love eating - ground produce, vegetables, fruits!
    That's where the life is.

      Yes, in Zambia they are called impwa . They are traditional or wild eggplants.The dark purple ones are just a different type.

    Wonderful market. The vege called Ngogwe (I think the mviringo variety) is bitter and should not be eaten at the same time with chicken. Thats what people in Uganda observe.
