A-36As, probably of 85th BG(Dive) USAAF, practice bombing

A-36As, probably of 85th Bomb Group (Dive), during practice bombing at a bombing range in the USA, ca. early 1943. 85th took part in the US Army manoeuvres in Kentucky in April 1943. It was a replacement training unit based at Blythe and Rice AABs in California until 1943 and than moved to Harding Field in Louisiana and finnaly Waycross AAF, Georgia, where it was disbanded in 1944.
