Anita, you are a god send for me with this machine. I just traded in a Presto for this Soprano. It really has some wonderful features. Thank you very much for these videos, they are really helpful! The most concise and useful teaching I've seen for the Baby Lock.
I just bought this machine today! I've been wanting one since I've started watching your videos. These instructional videos are absolutely wonderful! I'm a visual learner and really appreciate these videos. Thank you!!
Ooohhh, Justine, congratulations on your new Soprano. I love this machine so MUCH! Have fun getting to know your new machine and enjoy all the projects you will create.
Just purchased my soprano and I am so excited. Your videos are wonderful. Looking forward to more. Thanks so much for your help and beautiful smile and grace.
Totally amazing video and such a step by step teacher - which helps me learn! The ONLY video so far I have found that relates to me in learning! Thank you so much Anita - God Bless you today and always
Hi Anita, so great to see you back! I have missed watching your tutorials. I just recently started sewing after my mom found my late grandmother's sewing machine. The machine definitely has sentimental value for me. However, After watching your tutorials on this machine I'm sincerely considering purchasing one. Thank you for your tutorials!!!!!
Yaaay! Thanks for the great tutorial on how to locate and select stitches. I’m starting to get a little more comfortable with my BL Soprano. I look forward to the next tutorial
Thank you so much Anita I’ve had my machine for over a year had instructional classes to learn how to use it, but your instructors are so clear and have taught me so much. Thank you again.😄
Hi Anita, I'm looking for tutorials to make simple tops. I'm looking in your channel because you are an amazing instructor. Actually I can't find many tutorials except for the use of a certain sewing machine. Do you have tutorials after the one you made for the skirt?
Hi Maria! Yes, there are quite a few tutorials for other garments on my channel. We did six garments in the Beginner's Sewing Course, and I also did several other tutorials after that. Check out the channel.
Hello Anita, I have had my BL Soprano for a few months now and really enjoying it as well as your tutorials. When using a decorative or alphabet stitch is there a way to enlarge the stitch as some are so small. The increase or decrease width and length options are greyed out.
Hi there! I need to look into this because I haven't not yet played around with changing the sizing of the alphabet. Once I take a look, I plan to create a video on the topic because someone else has asked also.
When will you begin sewing patterns again? I love the tutorial on McCall 7430. I have purchased the pattern as well as a beautiful striped fabric. I hope your husband is doing well. Will you ever consider doing bras and panties? I hope so, because I think you are a great instructor.
Hi Claudia! I'll get back to doing pattern tutorials after I finish with my Casual Woman Collection. Not considering underwear at this time. Thanks for thinking of my husband. He's doing okay. We're taking it one day at a time.
Hello Anita. I purchased the Soprano and was watching your videos on it to learn it. Thank you for doing these videos. They are really clear and understandable. In the Character stitches I can't seem to find how to make the characters smaller. I tried the Size selection (page 4 in the Menu) to make the characters smaller but nothing is happening. Can you help me with that?
Awesome! Congratulations on your new Soprano. There are some decorative stitches that will require a different foot. You will find the chart in the owner's manual. It shows which foot to use with each stitch.
Jeanette Berry Ccontact your local Baby Lock dealer. They will be able to give you prices. If you don't know where to find a dealer in your town, contact the Baby Lock Sewing Machine Company.
A new Soprano will cost you between $1,700-$2,000. If you are a seamstress, or make all your own clothes, it will pay for itself. It is a beautiful machine.

OMGoodness! I'm so sorry that I'm just seeing this comment. My apologies. I'm planning to do a tutorial video for the character stitches. Stay tuned.
Just bought a soprano and am watching all your videos to get familiar with it. Would I need to change the foot to use the decorative stitches?

@@AnitabyDesign Thanks. I’ll check there when/if I go the decorative stitch route.
Thanks 😊
You're welcome!
Can you share the pattern used for the beautiful blouse that you have on during this video? Thanks!!!
Yes. It's a dress and I used Vogue 8825.
Thank you. I will buy this machine.
You're very welcome! Enjoy your new machine.
